Robert Downey Jr. is in talks to become the movie world's latest vampire sensation. The Iron Man star is in negotiations to play Anne Rice's Lestat Du Lioncort in the latest movie adaptation of her "Vampire Chronicles", according to BloodyDisgusting.com.

Tom Cruise and Stuart Townsend have both played the part in Interview With the Vampire and Queen of the Damned, respectively.

Lestat de Lioncourt is a fictitious French nobleman who becomes a vampire in the 18th century.

Korn Frontman Plans Solo Tour

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis is set to embark on a solo U.S. tour in February, but he has no plans to record an album without his bandmates. Davis was hospitalized in England in June with immune thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP), which forced him to pull the plug on the group's European tour.

But he's now ready to hit the road by himself, supported by backing musicians who played on Korn's recent tour.
