Salma Hayek And Antonio Banderas Impressed Their Kids With Their 'Puss In Boots' Voices

October 27th, 2011 10:36am EDT
Salma Hayek And Antonio Bandera
Salma Hayek didn’t want to tell her daughter she was the voice of Kitty Softpaws in the new Puss in Boots movie. She wanted to preserve the magic of animated movies. But just taking her daughter out to another movie exposed her.

“I was worried about that because it’s like the Santa thing in a way because she really thinks there’s cats there,” Hayek said. “I thought I had some time but I took her to see one movie and in the previews, I see his cat and I go, ‘Oh no, I have two seconds to break it to her.’ And before I could say anything, my character came on screen and I spoke.”

Style Stars Of The Week: Zoe Saldana, Salma Hayek, Ashley Greene, And Robert Pattinson

Zoe Saldana
We always talk about the fashion fails every week, so it's only fair we point out the celebrities that rocked their style. This week have a pair of Twilight stars and some beautiful women.

Zoe Saldana looked great in this pale dress, despite some of the accessories - we still don't get shoulder pads, and the stomach panel looks like a speedometer. But we like the open toe heels and the form-fitting cut really accents her physique.

Salma Hayek looked gorgeous at the Puss in Boots premiere, but her best accessory was her cute daughter, who you can see here.

Ashley Greene looked stunn...

funny story
This weekend, Zach Galifianak is will appear in “It’s Kind of a Funny Story,” number two of three films to come out in the second half of 2010. “Funny Story” is definitely a departure for Galifianakis who is given a chance to show a more serious and somber side of himself as a patient in the psychiatric ward of a hospital who is estranged from his only daughter. Then, next month, he will co-star with Robert Downey, Jr. in “Due Date” from Todd Phillips, the director of “The Hangover.”

Fans of Galifianakis’ stand-up are aware that he has been performing as a part of the alternative comedy mo...

Salma Hayek appeared at Christie's Green Auction: A Bid to Save the Earth last week wearing an unusual pair of black and white Balenciaga platform boots. Money certainly doesn't buy taste. Despite the high price tag, we think they're ugly.

In the film, five former basketball teammates gather at the lake house where they celebrated their biggest victory to mourn the passing of their late coach.
