TNT has booked a third season of its critically acclaimed drama "Southland." The network has ordered 10 episodes for the third season, which is slated to begin airing in January 2011.

Actress Leelee Sobieski is set to marry her boyfriend Adam Kimmel, according to U.S. reports.

The 26-year-old was spotted sporting a gem on her ring finger at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film Public Enemies on June 23rd, sparking reports she was set to wed the menswear designer.

A friend of the couple confirms to Usmagazine.com they have taken their relationship to the next level.

Last week, I chose to see "Public Enemies," which is a decision I definitely do not regret. Johnny Depp is electric as John Dillinger, oozing the charm and finesse of the real life American bank robber and folk hero. Christian Bale also does a solid job as the FBI agent Melvin Purvis, a man singularly obsessed with catching Dillinger.

My main complaints are that the movie does not develop the roles of the other gangsters very well, and at points that the cinematography leaves something to be desired. There are some really shaky handheld shots, which are nauseating. Other than that, ...

It's hard to draft this kind of list with "Public Enemies" so close to reaching its port of call at your local theater, since it's bound to shake the list up a bit. But so far as it goes, the Mob genre has a few golden standards that have set the bar high enough to make any director quake in their concrete boots at the prospect of taking the plunge. These films have a built-in mechanism that causes them either to take complete control of the empire or erupt like a car bomb. The problem with an actor like Johnny Depp is finding movies in his history that aren't fantastic. Then you have to consider the movies that aren't that good, but that he was great in anyway (which covers basically everything else).

The truth is, this Kentucky-born actor is one of the best in his or anyone's generation, and he also is an accomplished producer, director, screenwriter, and yes, even has quite a set of singing pipes. I saw "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" last week, and I really enjoyed it. Apparently among critics I was in the minority on that one. The film certainly wasn't perfect, but I didn't think it was nearly as bad as people were saying.

Depp, co-star Marion Cotillard and director Michael Mann ate at Gibsons Steakhouse around 11:30 p.m. Depp paid the bill, reportedly $4,400, at about 2:30 a.m. Depp left the sizable sum to make sure the waiter who stayed so late into the night was compensated for his time.
