'Hello, My Name Is Inigo Montoya. You Killed My Father, Prepare...'
'...To Cause Massive Panic Aboard New Zealand's Qantas Airlines.'
Anyone who didn't hide under a rock and had any sort of proper parenting in the last twenty or so years remembers this line:
"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die."
Mandy Patinkin's oh-so-memorable, oft-repeated line from "The Princess Bride" is directed solely at Christopher Guest's Count Tyrone Rugen, but a few cinematically challenged passengers on a recent Qantas flight to New Zealand can't tell a Patinkin from a Taliban.
According to Stuff, Kiwi/film buff Wynand Mullins started a m...
Mandy Patinkin Opposes 'Princess Bride' Remake; Billy Crystal Wants It
Mandy Patinkin and Billy Crystal are at odds over a possible remake of their cult movie "The Princess Bride" - the funnyman thinks it's time to revisit the story while Patinkin doesn't want to be alive when it hits the big screen.
The thespian, who played Inigo Montoya in the classic 1987 film, believes some things are better left alone.
He tells Entertainment Weekly, "I hope I'm dead before that (remake) happens. I don't want to have to go through that."
But Crystal would like to see the Rob Reiner film back in cinemas, and he's urging fans to "start a Twitter thing."

'Columbo' Star Peter Falk Dies At 83
Veteran actor Peter Falk, who played the famous rumpled police detective in "Columbo," died at his home in Beverly Hills on Thursday at age 83.
The actor suffered from Alzheimer's disease and dementia, according to 2008 papers filed by his daughter Catherine Falk at Los Angeles County Superior Court. She claimed her father "requires full-time custodial care for his health and safety."
Falk had a full film, TV and Broadway career. In 1968, Falk first assumed the role of Columbo, the disheveled police lieutenant whose seemingly slow and inept investigative manner masked a steel-trap mind....

Pirates, Pirates And More Pirates On Talk Like A Pirate Day 2010
September 19th marks a buzz worthy day for certain fanatics. What started out as a heated game of racquetball quickly became a world-wide phenomenon. June 6th, 1995 marked the first day of everything we love about British frivolity in the form of "Talk Like a Pirate Day". Scoff you may, but the truth is, "Talk Like a Pirate Day" stands for more than just wenching and boozing. It's about remembering the lore, the history, and, let's be honest, the slang that most love about these peg-legged and eye-patched folk.

Best Movie Lines That Have Stuck In Pop Culture
There are some movies that live forever in the minds of humanity generation after generation. They span decades, continents, and cross racial and gender divides. What creates that certain magic is intangible, but it inevitably involves the memorable quotes that make their way into pop culture and every day speech.
These quotes have a universal quality, whether humorous or tragic, and they take you back to that exact moment in the film when Marlon Brando screams into the air or Humphrey Bogart gently touches Ingrid Bergman's chin. These iconic moments are not only remembered but consta...
