Uma Thurman insists her European looks severely hurt her career options because Hollywood has been eager to cast her as a hardened ice queen. The actress - who was able to showcase her softer appeal in relationship drama Prime - is tired of being reduced to cliché parts.

She says, "You are so limited in this business by people's perceptions, and I know that a lot of people found me cold in the past. Chicken Little Maintains #1 Status at Box Office

Chicken Little
Chicken Little dominated the box office again in its second weekend, taking in $32 million from movie audiences. Zathura, another kid-targeted film, came in second place with $14 million. The thriller Derailed starring Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen opened in third place with $12.8 million.

Get Rich or Die Tryin' ($12.5 million)

Jarhead ($12.2 million)

Saw II ($9.4 million)

The Legend of Zorro ($6.6 million)

New Film Releases for Friday, Nov. 4

Chicken Little
The animated film Chicken Little adds a new twist to the classic children's tale. Zach Braff voices the title character, while Joan Cusack is Abby Mallard and Steve Zahn plays Runt of the Litter.

Jarhead centers on Marine enlistee Swoff (Jake Gyllenhaal) and his transition from boot camp to active duty. There has been some Oscar buzz surrounding Gyllenhaal’s performance.

Moviegoers Preferred Saw II This Halloween Weekend

Saw II was the big winner at the box office this past weekend. The thriller earned over $30 million, almost double the second runner-up The Legend of Zorro ($16.5 million). Meanwhile, the comedy Prime came in the number three spot with a mere $6.4 million. This weekend's other new film, The Weather Man, opened in sixth place with just $4.3 million.

The Weather Man is a quirky tale about a Chicago weather man (Nicolas Cage) who is on top of his game professionally but failing personally. Check out the swashbuckling tale The Legend of Zorro with Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The comedy Prime stars Uma Thurman; and Meryl Streep plays her therapist. Get into the Halloween spirit with the horror film Saw II.
