The Cast of Glee
Have you met the cast of Glee yet? This diverse group of oddballs is not only fun and entertaining but completely contagious. The shows rabid base of viewers has also taken to downloading their songs. Recently their rendition of 'Don't Stop Believin' went gold with over 500,000 downloads for that song alone and now an album "Glee: The Music, Volume 1" is available as well.

Take a minute to meet the cast and tune into FOX Wednesdays 8/7c.

Summer Movie Awards Part 1: Surprise Hit, Biggest Bombs & More

September 9th, 2009 9:53am EDT
G.I. Joe
Now that Labor Day has come and gone, the official end to summer has now passed. Yes, the days will now be shorter, the weather cooler (unless you're smart enough to live in Southern California like this column's scribe), and for some school resuming its session, but there's also a lot of good news.

TV is back, football is back, and summer movie season is finally at its end. Yes, no more summer movies, no more endless weekends filled with event films that shatter theater speakers and routinely melt screens with too much rambunctious action. It's a thankful end to a season that routine...

Starpulse Writer Compares Real Life To 'Post Grad'

I've always felt a companionship with Alexis Bledel due to her seven season stint as Rory Gilmore on the sorely missed "Gilmore Girls." I often imagined myself strolling through the Stars Hollow gazebo with Rory and her oh-so-cool mom Lorelai (Lauren Graham) before settling in for a night on their couch, rambling off sarcastic pop culture references at about 912 words a minute.

Now with the release of her new movie "Post Grad" Alexis and I have even more to bond over. I'm in the same situation as her character Ryden Malby, who is a recent college grad who failed to secure her dream job ...

Alexis Bledel Q&A: Alexis Discusses Her 'Post Grad' Role And Amazing Cast

August 20th, 2009 1:53pm EDT
Alexis Bledel/Post Grad
Alexis Bledel -- best known as Rory Gilmore on "Gilmore Girls" -- stars in the new film "Post Grad" (Opening this Friday, August 21) about a recent graduate who's not finding life too easy after college. Alexis discusses her new role and how it differs from Rory Gilmore and shares her experiences working with Michael Keaton and living legend Carol Burnett.

Alexis Bledel: Hi!

Mike: Hey, Alexis, how are you?

Alexis Bledel: Good. How are you?

Mike: Pretty good. The first thing I wanted to ask was if it was intimidating at all working with the supporting cast. You have Michael Keato...

Review: 'Post Grad' Has No Rhyme Or Reason

August 18th, 2009 9:54am EDT

One of the most famous formulas is the one for Coca-Cola. Do you know one of the best things about that formula? It's a secret. Why, oh why, can't movie formulas be secret? You know what a good formula is? The one that creates the eleven herbs and spices of Kentucky Fried Chicken (fine, it's technically a recipe, a point's trying to be made here). It's not finger lickin' good for no reason, mind you. You know what a bad formula is? Ambitious girl with longtime platonic guy friend is too caught up with her own career and her hunky foreign neighbor -- with prerequisite mid-film montages of ha...

Trailer Talk: 'Inglourious Basterds,' 'Post Grad' & More

August 17th, 2009 10:23am EDT
Inglourious Basterds
This weekend "500 Days of Summer" became my favorite movie of the season. The film's non-linear style of romantic storytelling works incredibly well. Jumping back and forth through various days in Tom and Summer's relationship is a fascinating way to get to know the couple.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Tom with an awkward charm that other lovesick fools can identify with. Much like a typical heartbroken lover, Tom finds himself bogged down remembering the positive parts of his relationship but forgetting the trials and tribulations.

While the film is not a typical love story filled w...

Starpulse's Explosive Summer Movie Preview

May 1st, 2009 10:06am EDT
Star Trek
Since the dawn of the American cinematic blockbuster in the late 1970s and early 1980s, moviegoers have eagerly waited for May - the unofficial beginning of summertime. This summer is no different. Films, and most popular media, are social mirrors, and this summer season supports that. The large box office contenders all deal with very similar themes: escapism and the support of the lone, outlaw hero figure (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Star Trek, Terminator Salvation, Up, Transformers 2, Public Enemies, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, Inglourious Basterds, et...
