Policewomen Review
Policewomen is a tough-as-nails '70s tale where moustaches are king and the women are downright mean. It's a flick where the dialogue never ceases to amaze, as do most of the acting jobs. Costumes, rough violence, and a crackerjack plot all add up to a film whose time and place have successfully been sealed in history. Directed by exploitation guru Lee_Frost (Love_Camp_7, The_Black_Gestapo, and even Mondo_Freudo), every frame of Policewomen washes over you with all its no-budget charm. Lead actress Sondra_Currie has certainly done her Clint_Eastwood homework, chewing her way through scene after scene while busting the chops of everyone from crazy kung fu-fighting women to '70s chumps in suit jackets. Worth it for all of this and more! Jeremy Wheeler, Rovi
