January 26th, 2009 10:17am EST
Steve Martin
Steve Martin urged Pink Panther 2 producers to write in an unlikely wedding for his bumbling Inspector Clouseau into the script - because all his films that end with a marriage have been hits.

Clouseau weds Emily Mortimer's character Nicole in the new comedy after funnyman Martin got his way. He says, "I said, 'I have to tell you that every movie I've done that ends in a wedding or holding a baby has been a hit.' I do believe we've taken the Pink Panther somewhere else and, in a sense, made it our own."

And Martin, who is the fourth actor to play Clouseau on screen, already has ...

August 22nd, 2008 12:07pm EDT
Jean Reno
French actor Jean Reno's 'heart attack' was actually a bout of heartburn and gastroenteritis, according to his publicist. But his publicist, Christina Papadopoulos, the fuss was nothing more than the result of "too much spicy Caribbean food."

She says, "Reports that actor Jean Reno is in the hospital due to a heart attack are false. He is vacationing in the Caribbean and went to a l...

Martin says, "It really requires a complete dedication; you can't just go out for a month, you have to go out for 11 months. You have to do it every night to stay fresh and hot. Whenever I would do (American TV's) The Tonight Show I would always work the night before because I found that if I didn't, ...
