Paranormal Activity 3
The "Paranormal Activity" franchise continues with a third outing from Paramount Pictures. Oren Peli and Jason Blum return to produce the highly secretive feature, with "Catfish's" directing duo of Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman taking on the helming duties.

The film centers on the "origin" of the first film's phenomena. Viewers discover that the diabolical entity that plagued sisters Katie and Kristi has been after the girls since their adolescent years in the late '80s.

The Blu-ray/DVD combo pack includes both the theatrical version of the film and an unrated version with footage no...

Horror Fans Flock To 'Paranormal Activity 3'

Paranormal Activity 3
The second "Paranormal Activity" sequel has scared up big audiences in America, grossing a staggering $54 million in its opening weekend.

The critically-acclaimed horror film has ended "Real Steel's" two-week run at the top of the U.S. box office.

Other new releases fared poorly - director Paul W.S. Anderson's "The Three Musketeers" revamp and Rowan Atkinson's "Johnny English Reborn" were big flops.

The Three Musketeers grossed a disappointing $8.8 million and comedy "Johnny English Reborn" made only $3.8 million at the box office.

Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'The Three Musketeers,' 'Paranormal Activity 3' & More

Trailer Talk
I was thoroughly disappointed last week by The Thing a supposed prequel to John Carpenter's 1982 sci-fi/horror classic. The reason I say "supposed" is that you'd be hard-pressed to know you were watching a different film.

Everything about movie, even right down to the layout of the set seems like a carbon copy. It doesn't contribute anything to the lore or bring anything new to the story. That would be okay if it was a decent retelling of similar events. Unfortunately doesn't even accomplish that, removing all of the human connection and creepy special effects which made Carpenter's versio...

The Ides of March

The Ides of March

This weekend has an interesting match-up for the box office: George Clooney’s “The Ides of March,” a sure Oscar contender, vs. “Real Steel,” a robot boxing film starring Hugh Jackman. In “Ides,” Clooney, who directed and co-wrote the screenplay, stars as a promising presidential candidate whose young, idealistic aid (Ryan Gosling) sees the dark underbelly of what political campaigns are really about. Expect amazing performances from the entire cast which also includes Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti, Maris Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood.

Real Steel

So why ...
