As expected, Brokeback Mountain is a favorite among Oscar voters, rounding up eight nominations, including those for best motion picture, director, actor, and supporting actor and actress. Crash and Good Night, And Good Luck follow with six nominations each. Walk the Line was surprisingly shut out of the best motion picture category, but the film earned five nominations, as did Capote, Memoirs of a Geisha, and Munich. Gay cowboy drama Brokeback Mountain was the big winner at last night's Golden Globe awards scooping four honors - including Best Motion Picture. The movie - which had seven nominations at the prestigious ceremony - also won Best Director for Ang Lee, Best Screenplay and Best Original Song.
