Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman have signed on for a sequel to surprise box office hit Olympus Has Fallen.

The thriller about a terrorist attack on the White House was a big hit at the global box office earlier this year (13), and the film's three stars are reteaming for a follow-up, set overseas.

However, director Antoine Fuqua won't be back for London Has Fallen.

Gerard Butler Broke Two Neck Bones, Got The Crap Beat Out Of Him Making 'Olympus Has Fallen'

Olympus Has Fallen
While filming new action movie Olympus Has Fallen, Gerard Butler broke two bones in his neck without even knowing it. The actor performed most of the stunts in the film and recently admitted the project was very difficult on his body.

He told Jay Leno, "I was hit with a bullet casing in the eye, I ripped off a fingernail, banged up my knee... I used to sing, well that's debatable, but I lost my high notes and I went to the doctor and he said I had a serrated voice box... That was about a year ago. So I went back about a month ago and he looked down again and he said, 'You got a growth in y...

Film Review: 'Olympus Has Fallen' A Solidly Crafted Thrill Ride

March 25th, 2013 6:15am EDT
Olympus Has Fallen
You'd have to be living under a rock to not know about Olympus Has Fallen, between its big-name cast and the huge promotional campaign that's been everywhere for the last month. This, though, is one of those rare cases where the hype is justified, because this is one of those big pictures - in every sense of the word - that we go to the movies for.

Olympus does not reinvent the action movie. It is not going to make you think too much about it after it's over. This isn't one of those flicks, but it doesn't claim to be one, either. It's a massive, violent, loud, unflinching one-man-wrecking-...

As if he’s not awesome enough on TNT’s Monday Mornings, Keong Sim is also part of the star-studded cast of Olympus Has Fallen, which hits theaters today. BFTV recently checked in with Keong to get the dish on his Olympus role, as well as the future of Monday Mornings.

“There were many ‘oh my God’ moments,” the actor said of joining an ensemble that also includes Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Melissa Leo, Rick Yune, Angela Bassett, Dylan McDermott, and Morgan Freeman. “The moments were like ‘Oh my God, that’s Academy Award winner Melissa Leo and she’s talking to me,’ ‘Oh my God, that’s Aaro...

Review: 'Olympus Has Fallen' Loud, Violent, And Familiar (Video)

March 22nd, 2013 7:30am EDT
Olympus Has Fallen
As I was watching this film I kept thinking about 'Die Hard.'

'Even though 'Die Hard' was set in a hotel and 'Olympus Has Fallen' is set in the White House, the two films have a great deal in common…Terrorists take hostages - they make outrageous demands and only one man can stop them.

In the former, we have Bruce Willis as our hero (the man who can do what no other human on earth can do). In 'Olympus Has Fallen' directed by Antoine Fuqua ('Training Day') we have Gerard Butler or Bruce Willis light.

Of course that's just my opinion. I just don't find Butler's acting all that interesting,...
