An inscribed first-edition copy of Oliver Twist has sold at auction for $229,000 - setting a new world record for a Charles Dickens book.

Among this week’s new releases is Flightplan, starring Jodi Foster. It centers on a woman whose daughter vanishes during a flight, but evidence indicates the girl was never on board. Also on DVD: the bawdy The Aristocrats, another Oliver Twist remake, creepy film The Fog, and independent feature Thumbsucker.
