I fully admit this particular column is going to be anything but non-partisan. Regular readers will know that I am an unabashed fan of CBS's Monday night sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Once even going so far as to declare it the best show on television. So, it comes as no surprise that I was absolutely thrilled to have this long conversation with the series star, Josh Radnor, who plays the lead character, Ted Mosby.

Our Favorite High School Movies

Perhaps you've heard about "Assassination of a High School President," the Bruce Willis/Mischa Barton movie that darkly satirizes high school politics. While much of the high school set is eagerly anticipating the film's theatrical release in early 2009, early reviews from its January screening at Sundance have been mixed. MTV has praised it as a cross between "Rushmore" and "The Usual Suspects," while Variety labeled it an "uninventive," "muddled parody." Only time will tell if the movie becomes an instant classic or ends up in the bargain DVD bin next to "Encino Man."

Joanna Garcia stars in "Welcome to the Captain," a new wacky comedy series on CBS, along with Fran Kranz, Chris Klein, Jeffrey Tambor, and Raquel Welch. We talked to Joanna this week and found her to be as bright and fresh as her character on "Captain."

Production Begins On New Season Of 'Grey's Anatomy;' Chyler Leigh Joins The Cast

Production has begun in Los Angeles on season four of ABC's Golden Globe-winning series "Grey's Anatomy." Entering their first year as residents, Meredith Grey, Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens and Alex Karev now have interns of their own to mentor.
