Comedian Katt Williams had to replace a family's pet recently after his bodyguard shot and killed a dog during a tour stop in Arizona.

Sean Penn
Before we get started on the Mega Oscar Diary, let's go to a few random ramblings from the cadre of pre-shows around the dial:

-Philip Seymour Hoffman's hat probably came with a matching set of fingerless gloves.

-The CW's Female Host: What is the role you'd love to do next. If you could do anything following 'The Wrestler' what would it be?

-Mickey Rourke: (Slowly eyes her up from head to toe with a knowing smile and walks off.)

-I know a lot of people care about fashion, ...

Spider-Man 3 has been named the most mistake-riddled movie of 2007 by British filmgoers. Fans have counted over 157 errors in the latest installment of the superhero franchise, as compiled by U.K. website moviemistakes.com.

The continuity mishaps included showing Cleveland, Ohio's Terminal Tower in view during Spider-Man's fight with the Sandman - despite the scene being set in New York. But it's not just the makers of Spider-Man 3 who are facing criticism - movie bloopers in 2007 are at an all-time high with almost 1000 spotted so far, up on last year's total.

Eddie Murphy Dodged 'Dreamgirls' UK Premiere Because of Spice Girls Fans

January 29th, 2007 10:13am EST
Eddie Murphy
Eddie Murphy avoided the London premiere of Dreamgirls because he was scared of Mel B fans, it has been alleged. The Nutty Professor star won the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe for his role in the film, but didn't promote the movie in the UK because he didn't want to be confronted by Spice Girls fans angry at the way he dumped pregnant Mel.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "London is her turf, and Eddie knows Mel has a loyal fan base. He's afraid the UK's reaction to him won't be good because of what he did to her."

The 45-year-old actor publicly dumped six-mon...

Despite losing their appeal with the MPAA, bosses at Paramount and DreamWorks - the studios behind the movie - plan to continue to work with the ratings board.

In the film, funnyman Murphy plays a disgruntled man who schemes to get rid of his larger-then-life wife, ...
