In Crank, a one-time freelance hitman who was just attempting to turn his life around is forced to keep his heart pumping when his vengeful former employers inject him with a lethal poison that will permanently stop his ticker if his pulse sinks beneath an active rate in a non-stop urban action extravaganza. Two comedies sneak into the “Fall Movie Preview” even though they will be released before the official start of autumn on Sept. 23. Idiocracy (Sept. 1) stars Luke Wilson as Pvt. Joe Bowers, a soldier chosen to take part in a secret military scientific experiment in which he will be put into induced hibernation for 1,000 years.

Summary: The film "The Night Listener" stars Robin Williams as a well-liked nighttime radio host who receives a disconcerting letter from an adolescent admirer. During this psychological thriller, Williams' character sets out to locate and help out this young boy.

"Tonight Show" host Jay Leno will be the first replacement co-host on the TV series "Ebert & Roeper" as film critic Roger Ebert recovers from cancer surgery. Leno's episode will air on August 5 where he will review the movies Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby, Miami Vice, Little Miss Sunshine, The Night Listener and Shadow Boxer.
