Uma Thurman is so scared of freed stalker Jack Jordan; she has hired a minder to protect her on the set of her new movie.

Jordan was arrested after trying to break into her trailer while she was shooting My Super Ex-Girlfriend in New York in 2005. He was charged with stalking and harassing the actress, but escaped jail this week when a judge ordered him to stay away from her for five years.

Thurman is back in New York shooting new movie Motherhood, and was photographed downtown on Tuesday under the watchful eye of a bodyguard.

Uma Thurman cried and shook with terror after Jack Jordan tried to force his way into her movie set trailer, the actress' wardrobe assistant testified on the first day of the alleged stalker's trial on Monday.
