Image Entertainment, Inc., a leading independent licensee, producer and distributor of home entertainment programming in North America, today announced it has signed an exclusive agreement with comedienne Wanda Sykes to produce and distribute a live stand-up television special, DVD and CD. The DVD was shot live at Seattle's Moore Theatre on April 14-15, 2006, which was the final stop of Sykes' multi-city tour.

Uma Thurman was rescued by Quentin Tarantino after a storm hit their party. The actress found herself battling the weather while attending a bash for her new movie My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

While partying on the rooftop of top New York nightspot Bed, Uma was happily chatting to actress Emily Frances and Kill Bill director Tarantino when a terrifying storm hit.

A source told New York Post newspaper: "Things were flying all over the place. Everyone ran for cover, and Quentin scooped her up in his arms and carried her to safety, leaving Emily to fend for herself."
