U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has turned down the chance to play actor Jason Segel's mom on hit TV comedy How I Met Your Mother.

Courtney Love Escalates Dave Grohl Feud, Accuses Him Of 'Hitting On' Frances Bean
Courtney Love has stepped up her war of words with Dave Grohl by accusing the rocker of destroying Kurt Cobain's memory by allowing a Nirvana song to be used in The Muppets movie.

Grohl vehemently denied the allegations, branding Love's comments "another hateful Twitter rant," and the blonde star has now hit back by accusing her adversary of staining Cobain's legacy by letting Smells...

Jack Black Defends Muppets Over Courtney Love's 'Raping Kurt Cobain's Memory' Comment
Jack Black has come to the defense of The Muppets after Courtney Love reportedly accused the popular puppets of destroying Kurt Cobain's legacy by covering a Nirvana song in the latest movie.
The Hole star was said to be fuming to discover Smells Like Teen Spirit was used in The Muppets film in a scene featuring Black, and is reported to have told pals the cover was "raping" her late husband's work.
However, Black is adamant no offense was intended as he is a big fan of the Nirvana frontman.

Bret McKenzie: 'Oscars Bosses Have Made A Big Mistake By Axing Songs'
Oscar nominee Bret McKenzie has urged Academy Awards bosses to reinstate the Best Song performances for next year - because he's sure the telecast will be a little boring without a musical number or two.
Officials have dropped the traditional performances of the Best Song nominees for 2012, which means the comedian and actor won't get the chance to croon his "Man or Muppet" tune at the big awards show - and he thinks that'll prove to be a big mistake.
He tells Fandango, "It's disappointing... It's a shame... but I'm not complaining because I still get to go to the Oscars... It would be fu...

Star-studded romantic comedy "New Year's Eve" has crawled to the top of the box office chart in the slowest weekend of ticket sales in three years.
The movie, starring Robert De Niro, Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl, grossed a weak $13.7 million in its opening weekend - a stark contrast to director Garry Marshall's last hit, 2010's "Valentine's Day," which also featured an ensemble cast and debuted with a healthy $56.3 million.
Jonah Hill's new funny film "The Sitter" opened in second with a lacklustre $10 million.

We here at NextMovie take pride in providing you with the most fair and balanced movie news possible, so we present the following without any commentary in order to let you the people decide for yourself where you stand on the issue: Fox News hates "The Muppets."
Yes, that's right: As reported on JoBlo, Fox News recently ran a lengthy segment accusing "The Muppets" of being part of a liberal agenda to brainwash your children into hating capitalism. The reason? Because (spoilers!) "The Muppets" features Chris Cooper as an evil oil baron.

'Twilight' Maintains Number-One Hold At Box Office
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" is still a big hit in cinemas, keeping "The Muppets" off the top of the box office for another week.

In 17 days since its release in the U.S., the film has grossed an impressive $247.3 million domestically.
"The Muppets" came in second with $11.2 million.

Review: Bobin And Segel Do Justice with 'The Muppets'
Disclaimer: I normally don't write reviews in the first person. Given my lifelong appreciation for the Muppets though, I felt my opinion wouldn't carry the same weight otherwise.
Growing up in the late 80s/early 90s, I watched Jim Henson's Muppets in all their wonderful forms: “Sesame Street,” “Fraggle Rock,” “Muppet Babies,” and reruns of “The Muppet Show.” Like other children my age, I was drawn to Kermit the Frog and his friends because of their vivid imagination, unflinching optimism, and ability to express themselves through entertaining songs.

'Flight Of The Conchords' Will Return, Their Director Promises
HBO would have produced more episodes of Flight of the Conchords and the fans certainly would have watched them. But the Conchords themselves decided to stop making the show after only two seasons. You can hear some Conchord-y music in The Muppets, as Bret McKenzie wrote new songs for the film. TV series director James Bobin also directed the Muppets movie, and he assured fans that McKenzie and Jemaine Clement will return. Not on a series, but maybe a special or a movie or something.
“I’m sure,” Bobin said. “Jemaine, Bret and I are constantly in touch. We’re good friends. It’s just a quest...
