Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'Moneyball,' 'Abduction,' & More

9/19/2011 11:00am EDT
Last week I didn’t screen any new movies, but I had a chance to conduct some awesome interviews. I talked with Jonah Hill on Monday about his role in “Moneyball” and Seth Rogen on Wednesday for his upcoming film “50/50.” Look out this week for my Jonah Hill interview and the next for mine with Seth Rogen.

Hollywood loves movies inspired by true stories this week, since they represent four of the six opening in theaters. You’ll have the opportunity to see the Brad Pitt baseball vehicle “Moneyball,” the Taylor Lautner espionage thriller “Abduction,” the Gerard Butler redemption tale “Mac...

Brad Pitt Jokes About Pact With Satan While Promoting 'Moneyball'

9/19/2011 9:26am EDT
Brad Pitt was at the forefront of every piece on the Toronto International Film Festival. Video of Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the red carpet appeared in every montage covering the fest. When he appeared at a press conference for his film Moneyball, one of the TIFF galas, he spoke about the religious system in which he grew up and rebelled against. The question was how he reflected on his struggles as an actor in B-movies before he became a huge star.

“I related it more to my upbringing,” Pitt said. “I grew up in a very Christian environment, a healthy environment, a loving family. But ther...

In an interview with Parade, Brad says that his life became "pathetic" in the 90s. "I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic."

"It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interes...

The end of the year is always the most exciting time for true movie lovers as the studios release the films they hope to compete in the race for the many awards shows that will happen early next year. This September will have some decent films to choose from (namely "Contagion" and "Drive"), but with a greater amount of less-than-impressive fare than is normally seen. Either way, this first month in the awards season will have moviegoers flocking to the cinema nearly every weekend.

Brad Pitt's New Wax Figure Shows The Actor Aging Gracefully

Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt's wax look-alike was unveiled at the Musee Grevin in Paris, France, today. We think it's a fairiy good likeness, and it shows the actor is aging a bit.

We just wish more actresses would follow Brad's lead. There's too much botox and nip and tuck in Hollywood. Actress Julianne Moore recently said, "It's hard to age. Let people do what they want to do, but I do think that a new normal sometimes starts to exist where the cosmetic surgery itself starts to look normal, and we lose track of what a real face is like."

The 47-year-old actor stars in the upcoming film "Moneyball" base...

Skinny Jonah Hill Is Almost Unrecognizable

7/12/2011 4:06pm EDT
Jonah Hill
We spotted Jonah Hill looking very slim in a tuxedo as he left Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood over the weekend.

The actor said he wanted to lose weight before filming his role in 21 Jump Street, based on the TV show of the same title. In March sources said he lost about 30 pounds. We think he's still dieting based on his most recent photo.

With fewer pounds and without his trademark glasses, Jonah looks like a new man.

He stars in the upcoming film "Moneyball" opposite Brad Pitt.

Jonah Hill's Struggle With 'Cyrus' Role

8/5/2010 11:21am EDT
Jonah Hill
Funnyman Jonah Hill struggled with his dramatic role in new dark comedy Cyrus, insisting he couldn't "shake off" his mentally disturbed character after filming ended.

The actor plays the 21-year-old title character who has an unnatural attachment to his mother, played by Marisa Tomei, and he admits it was a "stretch" from his normal comedic parts.

He tells Britain's Total Film magazine, "It's definitely more of a dramatic stretch for me. I'd say it was the first time ever it was difficult to go home at the end of the day and shake off what I was doing earlier in the day and just hang wit...

"It's boredom. No other reason than that." Brad Pitt explains his excessive facial hair. You know who else is bored? Brad's ex Juliette Lewis. The actress is urging reporters to stop asking about her relationship with Brad because she's bored with talking about him.

Lewis, who was a teenager when she dated Brad, explained, "All these years on, there's nothing I can say or divulge about Brad Pitt that would be remotely interesting to any intelligent being."

Want more of Brad? He has five films slated for release this year: "Tree of Life," "Moneyball," "Lost City Of Z," "Oobermind" and "Ch...
