Cameron plans on shooting the three sequels simultaneously, and he's got four new screenwriters on board to help him pen the three stories.

November 7th, 2010 11:30am EST
Megamind
Tina Fey's action sequences in new animated movie Megamind were so demanding, the funny lady would "hyperventilate" in the recording booth.

The 30 Rock star provides the voice for news reporter Roxanne Ritchi in the new family comedy, and admits the recording process was much more of a challenge than she had anticipated.

She tells MTV.com, "Having to imagine that you're up on top of a building and falling off, and being caught and swept back up, and trying to imagine all that. I can say that every time we had to do that stuff, I would kind of hyperventilate and get a little lightheaded."

Funnyman Will Ferrell has been named Hollywood's Most Overpaid Star for the second year running.

When he topped the annual list last year, Ferrell was pulling in just $3.29 per dollar he took home.

Eddie Murphy was second on the new countdown - his films drew $4.45 for every dollar, although Forbes' editors ruled out animated movies and therefore did not include his hit "Shrek" films.

You put comedians at the level of Will Ferrell and Tina Fey together at a press conference, and you might not get a whole lot of hard news. However, it’s an A-list comedy event. Imagine, these two get paid millions to be funny. For a journalist prompting them with a question, they’ll be funny for free.

The two former Saturday Night Live alums provide voices for Dreamworks latest animated movie, Megamind. Megamind (Ferrell) is a supervillain who finally gets a chance to rule the city. Roxanne Ritchi (Fey) is the reporter he usually kidnaps. She’s usually rescued by Metro Man (Brad Pitt) but...

I’m writing this week’s column on Halloween, so I wish my readers a happy and safe holiday. There are two things I’m looking forward to later tonight: a special Halloween screening of the cult classic “Evil Dead 2” at one of my local theaters and the premiere of the AMC television show “The Walking Dead.” As a zombie aficionado I’m curious to see how they will be able to stretch out the concept into an entire series. I’m hopeful that it will be entertaining.

Arriving this week in theaters are the Will Ferrell animated comedy “Megamind,” the roadtrip movie “Due Date,” the true life thril...

Tina Fey Avoids The 'N' Word At Comic-Con

Tina Fey
Tina Fey is very sensitive about her fans. There are certain labels they don’t appreciate. Even though her 30 Rock character, Liz Lemon, frequently mutters, “Nerds” in frustration, Fey won’t say it in real life. She came to San Diego Comic Con to show the fans some footage of her new Dreamworks animated movie Megamind, but she was careful when she took the stage.

“I felt like I didn't want to say anything that would get me in trouble,” she said. “I did not want to use the word nerds.”

Her former Weekend Update co-anchor did though. “Jimmy Fallon emailed me, like, ‘Nerd alert! You're at Co...
