"I feel like Ben Stiller in 'Meet the Parents' when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave," Kanye West wrote on his website after he stormed the MTV VMAs stage. "That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her."

While The Frisky believes that apology was pretty lame, they think that he made up for it with his appearance on Jay Leno's show the other night. Still, Kate Torgovnick was inspired by Kanye to find another 9 lame apologies mustered by celebs.

Marilyn Manson: Powdery white skin. Jet-black hair. No smile on his crimson lips or in his smoky, contact-lensed eyes. Proud of his freak show persona and wearing alienation like a badge of honor, musician and artist Marilyn Manson (nee Brian Warner) has an everyday look fit for a séance. Though he caused the stir when he burst onto the music scene in the 90's, his signature skinny black suits have now been co-opted by Emo kids and Pete Wentz has him beat when it comes to eyeliner. Even if his ghoulish look no longer shocks, no question the man is haunted: His 1997 autobiography was entitl...

Point/Counterpoint: Should Hollywood Stop Remaking Classic Films?

January 18th, 2008 1:45pm EST
Rob Zombie
Over the years many classic movies have been remade. Don't get me wrong, some of those remakes have been really good. But the majority of the movies have been really bad.

These days, special effects are being taken to a whole new level, but that's not always a good thing. One of the main reasons these films are classics is because CGI was in the distant future. People loved the original "Godzilla" because you can see the man in the Godzilla costume crushing a cardboard box, also known as Tokyo.

There are few movies that have scared me, and one of those films was the 1978 movie "Ha...

Movie Review: 'The Ex' Is A Flat, Desperate Comedy

May 10th, 2007 3:04pm EDT
The Ex
The Ex isn't so much a movie with a plot as it is a filmed series of situations in which Zach Braff a) injures himself, b) humiliates himself, or c) both.

Borrowing early and often from Meet the Parents and You, Me & Dupree, this desperate comedy finds Braff starring as bumbling straight man Tom (sorta like his role on Scrubs), who always manages to say and do the most painfully awkward things around his wacky in-laws and co-workers, people with whom he's never in sync.

Most of these moments involve Chip (Jason Bateman), the chipper high school boyfriend of his wife, Sofia (Amand...
