November 7th, 2005 7:50am EST
Brian Setzer
For the 2005 Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas album, 'Dig That Crazy Christmas' (click for review), Brian Setzer penned two brand new holiday tunes: "Santa Drives a Hot Rod." and "Hey Santa!," a blazing rockabilly-swing gem that should stand as a hepcat's Christmas anthem. Setzer sings, "Santa don't bring me any toys/Just bring my baby and a bottle of joy." Setzer is the king of all things retro, so it should come as no surprise that "Hey Santa!" comes off like an instant standard.

Setzer has became a Christmas icon by playing the classics next to his amazing originals. BSO's version ...
