The Top 10 TV Shows That Should Be Brought Back, Rebooted Or Just Re-Run
TV remakes are either hit-or-miss, but with hollywood lacking many new ideas (seems like every other show is a crime drama or takes place in a hospital these days) we've thought of a few classic shows that we think would make the cut and stick around for a while -- if they're done correctly.
There are a number of old shows from the 70s and 80s that have been brought back in recent years, some with all new casts and edgier than their predecessors, and others featuring some of the original cast members. Others were revamped entirely, and some casting decisions killed a couple before they wer...

There's a 'MacGruber' Sequel In The Works? Seriously?!
MacGruber! Making lifesaving inventions out of household materials! MacGruber! His movie kinda bombed but they might make another one! MacGruber! Will Forte must be strapped for cash!
In the pantheon of totally unlikely sequels to movies that tanked, "MacGruber" has to be one of the unlikeliest, but when Screen Crush talked to the film's director/co-writer Jorma Taccone, he claimed Forte's eponymous bomb deactivator just might be clever enough to pull it off.
"It would be me, Will and John [Solomon] writing it again," Taccone said. "Every time I hang out with Will, we talk about all our c...

Will Forte Joins The 'Neighborhood Watch'
Yeah, we'd trust the guy who played MacGruber to look after our neighborhood.
Will Forte, who made evil tremble as an ex-special forces operative in last year's "MacGruber," will be keeping suburbia safe from harm in "Neighborhood Watch," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Forte joins Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill in the story about a group of neighbors that uncovers a plan to destroy the world. The rest of the "Watch" includes Richard Ayoade (who recently signed on for the role that Chris Tucker had been circling) and Rosemary DeWitt.
Even though "MacGruber" failed to seiz...

Val Kilmer's Neighbors:'We're Not Intimidated By Him'
Val Kilmer's neighbors in New Mexico have moved to block plans to turn his home into a bed and breakfast resort - insisting the actor must apologize for a series of negative comments he allegedly made about his adopted state.
The star has applied for planning permission to transform his expansive Pecos River Ranch near Santa Fe into a guesthouse, but local residents have lodged an official complaint with authorities. The group of unhappy residents claim they won't withdraw their objections until the MacGruber star says sorry for a series of remarks he is said to have made in a 2003 interv...

"Shrek Forever After" is bringing in the green after ending "Iron Man 2's" reign as America's box office champion.
The animated 3D movie took in $71.3 million over the weekend to debut at number one.
The big film - the final "Shrek" movie - fell well short of the $100 million studio bosses had anticipated.

Russell Crowe's "Robin Hood" also fell a spot to three, while new comedy "MacGruber" debuted in fifth place with $4.1 million.

Ryan Phillippe Has Tattoo Of Grandfather And Son
Movie star Ryan Phillippe has brought his grandfather and his son together in a touching tattoo on his back.
The MacGruber star's son Deacon never got to meet his great-grandfather - but Phillippe likes to think the "most impressive man I've ever met" still watches over his kids.
And he has a large tattoo on his right shoulder to acknowledge the family link.
The actor says, "He (grandfather) passed away before my son, Deacon, was born and so that tattoo is his hand holding my son's because they never got to meet. It means so much to me."

Can 'MacGruber' Break The SNL Movie Curse?
Of all the recent "Saturday Night Live" recurring characters, MacGruber seemed the least likely to land his own feature film. After all, the skit spends about 15 seconds with the action hero before he's blown to smithereens.
However, star Will Forte imagined greater things for our mulleted man of action, and he convinced Lorne Michaels and the powers that be to turn the skit into a 90-minute film that opens Friday.
"MacGruber" is getting solid buzz on the eve of its opening, but has to overcome the stigma that SNL films can't cut it both from a quality and financial standpoint. There ha...

Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'Shrek Forever After,' 'MacGruber,' & More
A lot of other critics have blasted Ridley Scott’s “Robin Hood,” but honestly I found it to be pretty interesting. It is slightly long winded and its action scenes are a bit frenetic, however it dares to be different in how it approaches the Robin Hood tale which I appreciate.
As a narrative "Robin Hood" operates like a prequel, covering the events leading to Robin’s branding as an outlaw. This Robin is serious, more like a solider commanding his friends in battle, than the lighthearted rogue whose archery and skills with a sword are so well known in the legend. While he believes in eq...

'MacGyver' Creator Aims To Stop 'MacGruber' Movie
The man behind MacGyver is consulting lawyers in a bid to block the release of an upcoming spoof movie based on the 1980s TV series. A new film, titled MacGruber and starring Val Kilmer, is set to hit cinemas in April, but Lee Zlotoff, creator of the original show, alleges the parody breaches copyright laws as he retained the movie rights to his TV creation.
A lawyer for Zlotoff has fired off a series of cease-and-desist letters to executives at Relativity Media, the company behind the new comedy, according to Thresq.com.
Zlotoff's attorney, Paul Mayersohn, tells the website his cli...

Check Out The Hilarious Red Band Trailer For 'MacGruber'; Will Forte's 'SNL' Character Hits The Big Screen April 23
Only one American hero has earned the rank of Green Beret, Navy SEAL and Army Ranger. Just one operative has been awarded 16 purple hearts, 3 Congressional Medals of Honor and 7 presidential medals of bravery. And only one guy is man enough to still sport a mullet. In 2010, Will Forte brings Saturday Night Live's clueless soldier of fortune to the big screen in the action comedy MacGruber.
In the 10 years since his fiancée was killed, special op MacGruber has sworn off a life of fighting crime with his bare hands. But when he learns that his country needs him to find a nuclear warhea...

Can Val Kilmer Make A Comeback In Hollywood?
Val Kilmer makes a triumphant return to the big screen this week in "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans," an off-kilter project befitting Kilmer's reputation as one of Hollywood's biggest head cases.
Will this film - Kilmer's first to get a wide release since 2006's "Déjà Vu" - get the actor back on the Hollywood map or will he continue to toil away in B-movie wilderness for the rest of his career?
Remember, Kilmer may be king of the straight-to-DVD landscape now, but for a while was considered to be one of the leading men in Hollywood. Kilmer was Iceman for crying out loud! H...
