TV Land will celebrate the life and times of music legend and pop icon Elvis Presley throughout the summer of 2007. Kicking off TV Land's tribute to Elvis in late July, TV Land and the city of Honolulu, Hawaii will honor Elvis with a life-sized bronze sculpture. The statue will grace The Neal S. Blaisdell Center, formerly The Honolulu International Center, the site of Elvis' 1973 Aloha from Hawaii concert, which was seen globally on television.

Signed contracts featuring an array of stars including Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Marlon Brando are to be auctioned off by film studio 20th Century Fox next year. Over 200 celebrity contracts will go under the hammer in New York in a bid to raise money for a Hollywood film charity, including a 1946 memo informing the industry a young Norma Jean Dougherty was changing her name to Marilyn Monroe.
