Rupert Everett Slams Jennifer Aniston's Career & Her 'Tasteless Romcom' Roles

December 29th, 2010 6:00pm EST
Rupert Everett Jennifer Aniston
Outspoken actor Rupert Everett is making quick enemies of Jennifer Aniston and fellow Brit Colin Firth, branding her career choices "tasteless" and his performance in movie musical "Mamma Mia!" "career suicide."

In a BBC radio rant, the actor admits he can't understand why the two A-listers still have careers in the film industry after consistent film flops - and he used Aniston's turn in box office bombs "The Switch," "The Bounty Hunter" and "Love Happens" as a prime example.

He says, "If you look and analyze the careers of many, many stars, you'll find that they're mostly sustained by...

Can Jennifer Aniston Redeem Herself With 'The Switch'?

August 18th, 2010 11:00am EDT
the switch
This weekend “The Switch,” starring Jennifer Aniston, will open in theaters and if early reviews are an indicator, Aniston has yet another flop on her hands. Aniston, who was once a promising leading lady, has become a punch line for moviegoers who are as likely to expect good movies from her as they are a decent stand-up act from Carrot Top.

There was a time when Hollywood and fans expected great things from Aniston who was riding high from the success of “Friends.” Aniston’s only real quality films have been the few independent movies she did early in her career. Without argument, “The G...

Wow, there were some bad movies, like really bad, in 2009 but since we are optimists we like to think the good outnumbered the bad. We already discussed the good movies, and now we will feature the bad and ugly of 2009. Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'The Informant,' 'Jennifer's Body' & More

September 14th, 2009 9:32am EDT
The Informant
Last week, the long weekend gave me a chance to see "District 9" in the movie theater. The film's science fiction elements took a back seat to its moral objective however, which was roughly to serve as an allegory for the Apartheid in South Africa.

Treatment of the aliens by humans, as a subhuman species really becomes emotionally jarring through the intense blood and gore that comprise the latter half of the movie. Audiences ultimately walk away from "District 9" disgusted by the inhumanity of the human race.

A nontraditional narrative, "District 9" is largely told through the use ...

Let's Play Matchmaker With Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston was a part of one of the hottest Hollywood couples of all time. Her relationship with Brad Pitt was The Hottest Hollywood relationship in the 90s and it looked to be a rare Hollywood couple success story.

Conflicting reports say Brad ended it with Jen because he wanted kids and leave it up to Jen to ruin a something good. She filed for divorce in 2005 and since then she has run into some bad luck with men.

She may call it bad luck but I call it dating douche bags.

BP (before Pitt) she started off with a few good men like actors Charlie Schlatter and the late Dani...
