Billy Bob Thornton: 'Hugh Grant Teased Me Over Disraeli's Hair'

February 4th, 2007 10:30am EST
Billy Bob Thornton
Billy Bob Thornton found himself at the receiving end of taunts from British actor Hugh Grant - after the Bad Santa star revealed his phobia of nineteenth century British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli's hairstyle.

Thornton was so sickened by Disraeli's curly locks he found himself unable to eat every time Grant mentioned the late statesman on the set of 2003 film Love Actually.

He tells Empire magazine, "I was watching some old movie once - I don't remember the name of it - but Benjamin Disraeli was a character in it. He was in this old, weird room, with old heavy drapes and ...

Billy Bob Thornton Tops Best Santa List

December 7th, 2006 9:35am EST
Bad Santa
Billy Bob Thornton's foul-mouthed drunk in Bad Santa has been voted the best-loved Father Christmas in a new poll. British movie magazine Hotdog's number-one choice may surprise some - considering Billy Boy's character is a misogynist, sexist and ranting drunk. But the magazine insists he is a worthy winner.

A spokesperson for the magazine says, "Billy Bob Thornton's Santa is one of the most entertaining you're likely to encounter. Instead of spreading good cheer, he robs department stores."

Edmund Gwenn's Santa in Miracle on 34th Street and South Park's Father Christmas took se...

Nick Lachey Loves Films That Make Him Cry

July 11th, 2006 10:11am EDT
Nick Lachey
Singer Nick Lachey is so in touch with his feminine side, even sappy films like Love Actually make him cry. Lachey admits he is as romantic as the ballads he sings and easily breaks down at the movies.

He says, "If a movie makes me cry I love that. 'Love Actually' wrecks me every time. My dad was a very emotional guy, and he taught my brother and I not to be afraid of your emotions. I wouldn't go and see 'Love Actually' with my friends. I can't imagine breaking down crying in front of the guys. There is a limit."

April 5th, 2006 10:24am EDT
Keira Knightley
Keira Knightley is scared to get married for fear the ceremony won't live up to her dream wedding in romantic comedy Love Actually. The British beauty, whose films have included a string of on-screen love affairs, would prefer to put off the real thing for a while longer.

She says, "(Marriage?) Not right now, no. You know, I've been married five times in films, had three children and countless proposals - and all before I'm 20! So I think that's quite enough. Plus I don't know how you'd top the wedding I had in Love Actually."

February 13th, 2006 10:57am EST
Hugh Grant
British actor Hugh Grant has found fans in high places after Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany revealed his fondness for the star in an internet video.

The clip, inspired by Grant's hit Love Actually, sees the head of state dancing to a pop song in his study - mimicking the actor's role in the film as a maverick British prime minister.

Gyurcsany asserts in his blog on a popular left-wing youth website that the video was a wedding gift to government spokesman Andras Batiz, as part of a time-honoured tradition.

He writes, "It has been a habit for quite a few years with ...
