Dear John
Amanda Seyfried’s thriller, Red Riding Hood opens this weekend and we are anxious to see her in a film where she’s not the sweet adorable girl. She plays a vulnerable girl named Valerie who is trying to run from a werewolf who has kept the villagers in the little town of Daggerhorn on edge for years. When Valerie’s older sister becomes the latest victim of the elusive werewolf, the village is in a state of panic as they are warned that the wolf can take on human form and can be any one of them.

Take a look at the best Amanda Seyfried movies so far, as we expect there will be many more for ...

Amanda Seyfried Vs. Kristen Stewart
If you were to rank Hollywood’s top young actresses today, Amanda Seyfried and Kristen Stewart would be right at the top of that list. Both actresses are only in their 20’s and have more box office hits than Oscar Winners Charlize Theron and Sandra Bullock when they were in their 20's. Seyfried achieved fame for her roles in Mamma Mia! and a string of romantic movies released this year. Stewart has gained recognition for her role as "Bella" in The Twilight Saga and supposedly dating Robert Pattinson. Both young starlets have the...

Amanda Seyfried covers the latest issue of Teen Vogue, just in time for her new movie Letters to Juliet. She revealed several things about herself in the interview, from past crushes to her current relationship.

She says of her past crushes: "I had a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio, probably for eight years. I had a crush on Michael Bolton. I had a crush on the smoothie man that worked at the mall."

As for her current man, Dominic Cooper, she says "A lot of people ask me 'is Dominic the one?' I don't know and I'm fine with that. Too much planning can lead to heartbreak. Love is great."

Amanda Seyfried Looks Like A Watercolor Painting At The 'Letters To Juliet' Premiere

Amanda Seyfried
We adore the blue frock Amanda Seyfried wore last night in Los Angeles at the "Letters To Juliet" premiere. She wore an RM by Roland Mouret "Morgan" dress that features iridescent blue fan sequins. Do you like it as much as we do?

In the film, Amanda plays an American girl who discovers a love letter that changes her life. The setting is Verona, Italy - the city where Romeo and Juliet first met. In Verona, there's a wall where the lovelorn leave notes, hoping that Juliet will answer their inquiries about love.

Sophie (Seyfried) is part of a team of volunteers who respond to the letters. W...

Trailer Talk: This Week in Movies - 'Robin Hood,' 'Letters to Juliet,' & More

5/10/2010 9:40am EDT
Letters To Juliet
Last week “Iron Man 2” totally blew my expectations out of the water, to be equally as enjoyable as its predecessor. It reuses the same formula as the original to achieve success: lighthearted banter, eye-popping special effects, and exciting action sequences. That being said, it’s not a boring carbon copy of the original because it introduces new characters and new challenges for the character Tony Stark. For further comments, check out my review.

May’s second week delivers just three new films to theaters: Ridley Scott’s action epic “Robin Hood,” the romantic dramedy “Letters to Julie...

January: The Worst Month For Cinema

1/8/2010 10:35am EST
The Worst Month for Cinema
January truly is the worst month for film. In fact, January is the equivalent of the second string JV team in high school. Its sole purpose is to warm the benches for the upcoming seasons.

The month sometimes holds a few kernels of popcorn goodness. The two genres that perform well, or at least have been granted a few sleeper hits in the past decade, are thrillers and sci-fi/horror. Last year 'Taken' and 'My Bloody Valentine 3D' were stars among flops in January. Typically, as rabid consumers of cinema, we forget about January. Honestly, do any of you fondly remember titles like, '...
