May 19th, 2013 8:41pm EDT
Ashley Hamilton
George Hamilton's actor son has his longtime pal Robert Downey, Jr. to thank for helping him bag a role in Iron Man 3.

Ashley Hamilton struggled to get his Hollywood career back on track after overcoming his drug and alcohol addiction problems, and admits Downey, Jr.'s vote of confidence gave him the boost he needed.

Hamilton explains, "He helped open the door (to work on the movie) but he said, 'I can't do it (all) for you, dude.' I said, 'That's OK. I just need somebody to give me the opportunity to trust in me sober-wise and give me a shot of this magnitude.' I'll forever owe him for t...

"It is an extraordinary start," Disney executive VP of distribution Dave Hollis told Reuters. "The start on the U.S. side is some...

Tony Stark Gets A Much-Needed Dose Of Humility In ‘Iron Man 3’

May 5th, 2013 7:40am EDT
Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man 3
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) figures out how to play nice with others in “The Avengers,” but our smug, self-assured hero finally learns humility in Shane Black’s “Iron Man 3.” For the first time Stark can’t come up with all the answers immediately, he’s not always wearing his armor, and he doesn’t have jokes for every occasion. His struggle is actually quite refreshing, and endearing because watching this cocky character become so humbled over the course of Black’s story, is more engaging than any epic act of heroism that Iron Man performs in the film.

Black’s Tony Stark is a darker, mor...

Review: 'Iron Man 3' - Third Time's A Charm?

May 4th, 2013 7:48am EDT
Iron Man 3
Third time’s a charm is what they say, right? Well, as much as most of us may buy into the ever-so-famous phrase, the “Iron Man” franchise, I personally believe, will live strongest among its first piece of exposure. Not to say the franchise’s third installment was “bad,” because it really wasn’t. Shane Black's (writer/director) take of the franchise will make its mark among Marvel movies and will make both Marvel and Disney financially happy - but it didn’t really push for anything to be considered legendary as the world of comic-book movies move along its own bubble and/or universe.

'Iron Man 3' Review: Our Super Hero Is Back & He's Better Than Ever

May 3rd, 2013 7:32am EDT
Iron Man 3
Mr. Iron Man needs a Xanax. He gets panic attacks, how cool is that?

Our super hero has major angst and that's what makes him so lovable and so very human.  That, and of course Robert Downey Jr., who once again brings the brilliant, brash, billionaire, inventor, Tony Stark aka Iron Man to life on the big screen and he absolutely KILLS it!

What makes "Iron Man 3" so unique is that it's not only the culmination of the first two films, but it's also a follow-up to 'Marvel's "The Avengers" - making it a sequel to two different movies.

In ''The Avengers," Stark faced a world-changing event, t...

Gwyneth Paltrow definitely knows how to make a fashion statement. She attended the "Iron Man 3" premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday wearing a provocative Antonio Berardi gown that proved she wasn't wearing any underwear.

April 18th, 2013 11:40am EDT
Iron Man 2
In March, Paramount released an "Iron Man 3" teaser trailer featuring Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) donning one of the many Iron Man suits.

The actress has since called her co-star Robert Downey Jr. a "wimp" for complaining so much about having to wear the hot and uncomfortable costume in three films.

Paltrow admits she was wary of putting on the suit, but she was surprised when it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be.

She told Graham Norton: "I get to wear the Iron Man suit for a while - it's very cool... It's quite cumbersome but not so bad. I thought it was going to be terrible b...

Robert Downey Jr. was exuberant and playful at the "Iron Man 3" photocall at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof

The actor played homage to the European country by donning lederhosen, a pair of brown knee-length britches. He also wore green socks, a matching kerchief, brown blazer and button-down shirt.

In contrast, his co-star Gwyneth Paltrow dressed more conservatively in a pretty Kaufmanfranco silk white shift dress. She seemed amused by Downey Jr.'s red-carpet poses.

Oz: The Great And Powerful
The Super Bowl is second only to The Oscars telecast when it comes to movie trailers. So who paid the big bucks this year?
