If you didn''t make it to Comic-Con this week than you missed a neat promotion by Paramount Pictures and Lucasfilm. The studio is releasing "Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures"on Blu-ray Sept. 18 and had one heck of a way to let people know about it.

Throngs of fans got up close and personal with the slithering creatures at the Lucasfilm booth. The display replicated the famous "Well of Souls" scene from "Raider of the Lost Ark."

Legendary filmmaker George Lucas has announced he is retiring from Hollywood, insisting he no longer wants to make blockbuster movies.

The "Star Wars" creator is best known for his work on the iconic sci-fi franchise, as well as the "Indiana Jones" films.

He has most recently worked on upcoming blockbuster "Red Tails," but insists unless a fifth "Indiana Jones" movie is made he's finished with the business and wants to instead concentrate on smaller independent projects.

Harrison Ford's publicist has dismissed reports the actor's beloved adventurer character Indiana Jones is set to be killed off in the next movie.

Ford reprised his role as the heroic archaeologist in 2008's "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," which hit cinemas nearly 20 years after 1989's "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade."

In the film, Jones teamed up with his son, played by Shia LaBeouf, who has been tipped to replace Ford in the adventure movie franchise.

Harrison Ford surprised crowds at the Comic-Con convention on Saturday by appearing in handcuffs - shortly after a man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another fan at the San Diego, California event.

The handcuffed actor was led onstage by two security guards and given a standing ovation from the 6,000-strong audience at the sci-fi and comic book gathering.

A fan has paid a massive $8,500 to go for a coffee with Robert De Niro. The Raging Bull star offered up an outing to a coffee shop as a lot for a star-studded charity auction in New York on Thursday night - and an unnamed bidder pounced on the prize and paid thousands of dollars for a meeting with the movie star.
