'Two Jews On Film' Pick Their Top 10 For 2010 (Video)
2010 was truly a year for amazing films. We had The Coen Brothers' fantastic remake of the classic western, True Grit. Films about people overcoming great obstacles...'Frankie & Alice', 'Conviction', 'The Fighter' '127 Hours' and of course, one of the 'Two Jews On Film' favorites...'The King's Speech'. We had movies about a dancer's obsessed with perfection...Darren Aronofsky's brilliant, twisted tale, 'The Black Swan', and a film about a man obsessed with money and power 'Casino Jack'...And then there was that movie about a guy that changed our lives forever...'The Social Network'...one...

Last Thursday I saw “I Love You Philip Morris” starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. This film, which is written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and Jon Requa, the team behind “Bad Santa,” advertises itself as a funny movie; however it leans more dramatic than expected. Most of the hilarious lines are spoiled by the trailer, so when you get a chance to see the whole product, you’ll find yourself a bit let down.
Both Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor are incredibly convincing as a gay couple from the manner of their speaking down to the body language that they use. Their story is one that pull...

Jim Carrey Took Big Pay Cut To Star In 'Phillip Morris'
Jim Carrey had no problem with taking a big salary cut to star in I Love You Phillip Morris - because he loves tackling "extreme and interesting" movies.
In the film, inspired by true events, Carrey stars as jailed con artist Steven Jay Russell who falls in love with his cellmate, Phillip Morris, played by Ewan McGregor.
Carrey agreed to lower his fee to appear in the $15 million budget movie - but he was determined to play Russell because he resonated with the character's dedication to finding real love.
He tells Parade magazine, "There are very few scripts that I would come across t...

Trailer Talk: This Week in Movies - 'Black Swan,' 'All Good Things,' & More
I hope everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving filled with good food and excellent company. As part of a tradition in my family, we watched the movie “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” starring John Candy and Steve Martin. This road trip comedy which no doubt influenced this year’s “Due Date,” tells the story of a man (Martin) racing home to Chicago for Thanksgiving with his family.
His journey is terrorized by an obnoxious stranger (Candy) he can’t seem to shake. The odd couple is forced to travel together, enduring a comical series of catastrophes, while unwittingly forming a frien...
