In "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," Katniss Everdeen has returned home safely after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts.

Along the way, Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell), a competition that could change Panem forever.

The movie sequel, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Li...

A Lionsgate exec told The Hollywood Reporter, "We're all extraordinarily sad. But as it relates to production, it’s going to have no impact. Obviously, we're going to have a couple of work-around issues but the movie wil...

The first movie poster for this fall's "Hunger Games" sequel, "Mockingjay - Part 1," has been released, and, unsurprisingly, it's just like the teasers for the previous two films in the series.

The new one-sheet has arrived while the second film in the series, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, is still in theaters.

The artwork features a bird in a flaming circle, only this time the bird has its wings spread and is ready to fly, symbolic of the story's heroine Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and the rebellion she started in the futuristic country of Panem.

This could be an entirely different headline when American Hustle opens. Then again, Lawrence is also in American Hustle.

1) The Hunger Games: Catching Fire- 35M Weekend, 345M Total

This is a traditionally slow Box Office weekend, and that will definitely be true for everything that isn’t Hunger Games or Frozen. Everything else will struggle, but these two should keep chugging along at a decent pace.

Frozen remains a top choice, and really the only choice for families. It will continue to perform strong into December.

November 21st, 2013 12:00pm EST
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Once more we return to the 12th district in the dystopian world of Panem, ruled by the super evil President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

After winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), along with her best friend and fake soul man Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), is about to go out on a victors tour.

Life is good for both Katniss and Peeta. They live in comfortable houses, have all the food they could possibly want, nice clothing and are the 'darlings' of Panem. Of course, there is a price for all of these goodies. They have to keep up the charade of being m...

Jennifer Lawrence is up for her second turn as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games saga, Catching Fire. As Katniss becomes an inspiration for a rebellion, Lawrence reflected on her own opportunity to make a difference to young viewers. Even making the first film, she saw firsthand the difference a heroine like Katniss could make.

“I remember on the first movie I met a girl who was an extra and she was covered in scars,” Lawrence said at a press conference for Catching Fire. “She had been burned and I remember her coming up to me and saying that she was self-conscious to go to school when...

Donald Sutherland may be 78, but he still gets "awkward" around his Hunger Games: Catching Fire co-star Jennifer Lawrence.

Sutherland, who plays Coriolanus Snow in the series, told E!, "She's a delivery system for the truth. She channels epiphanies. She's brilliant, she's brilliant. She's unlike other performers.

"I'm awkward in her presence. When I see her, I babble. When I meet her coming out of an elevator, I'm 'blub, blub, blub.'"

Sutherland continued later, "When I work with her, between Katniss Everdeen and Coriolanus Snow, it's a battle I can taste, eat—I love it!"

Two of the new people they’ll have to face in the games include Cashmere (Stephanie Leigh Schlund) and Gloss Schlund (Alan Ritchson.) I recently spoke with Schlund who portrays Cashmere to find out what fans can expect in the highly anticipated sequel.

How would you describe your character of Cashmere?

November 11th, 2013 4:07pm EST
Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence was terrified while taping The Hunger Games: Catching Fire because she thought her tight wetsuit might show more than she realized.

Jennifer told Marc Malkin of E! at a press event in Beverly Hills, "Honestly, I was expecting them to be horrible because the idea of being in a wetsuit for a whole movie sounds terrifying. But they actually were pretty comfortable once we found out you can actually pee through them—just go into the ocean and take care of your business."

So while Jennifer's bathroom worries were alleviated, the actress wasn't satisfied that her privacy would...

'Hunger Games' Sequel Is 'Less Violent'

November 10th, 2013 1:32pm EST
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' is "less violent" than the first movie.

Filmmaker Francis Lawrence - who replaces Gary Ross in the director's chair - was eager to make changes to the blockbuster sequel, such as toning down the blood and gore seen on screen.

He said: "There's a lot less person-on-person killing in this one. The important theme is the idea of allies and having to work with people you don't necessarily trust. Reliance on others versus reliance on self. It's still intense but there's less violence. I'm more interested in somebody's reaction to violence or the consequence of...

Jennifer Lawrence
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire stars Jennifer Lawrence and Sam Clafin were so accident prone on the set of the movie they believe there's a short film of all their mishaps just waiting to be added to the DVD release.

Hardly a day went by without the actors falling, banging their heads or stumbling and Clafin is convinced film fans would love to see their clumsy moments.

He says, "There should be a whole sizzle reel of us just falling over... I fell when we were just standing there. Jennifer was just as bad, though."

Lawrence adds, "Sam is the clumsiest, most accident prone person in the...
