Queen Latifah stars as Georgia Byrd, the mild-mannered gal turned spendaholic, in the comedy Last Holiday. When Georgia learns she has a very rare medical condition and only has three weeks to live, she cashes out her life savings and heads to Europe for a last bit of revelry. Comedian Martin Lawrence's chubby alter-ego, Big Momma, beat Emma Thompson's ugly Nanny McPhee in a battle of the family films at the US box office this weekend. Lawrence's Big Momma's House 2 stormed to the number one spot with a surprise $28 million opening weekend take. Nanny McPhee came in second with a $14.1 million debut.
