Neil Patrick Harris To Bring More Mayhem In 'Harold And Kumar 3'
In a candid interview with Neil Patrick Harris, Hollywood.com confirmed reports that he will be making an appearance in "A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas" while on break shooting "The Smurfs." Apparently being gunned down in 2008's "Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay" didn't stop Harris.
NPH also speculated in the interview that he most likely not be making another Glee performance anytime soon, "The networks like to keep actors on their network." Sad news for "Glee" fans indeed, but we'll take the NPH havoc coming to us in Christmas 2011 with Harold and Kumar.

Our Favorite Movie Cameos
There are a lot of modern movies that love to give little winks at the audience, and one of the easiest ways to do that is through the use of cameo appearances. A cameo is when a well known celebrity or important person shows up for a brief appearance in a movie. It can be a non-speaking random role, or perhaps a whole scene that steals the show. Whatever the case may be, oftentimes in a film the cameo ends up being the most memorable part of the whole movie. Take "Zombieland" for example, out in theaters now, but there's no spoilers here. Just go see the film and you'll see. Here's a look ...

In the second week of our summer movie season, we have a lull in the number of films coming out. There are just three movies being released, and of those, two are premiering in mainstream theaters. Funny Film Cameos
A cameo used to refer to a famous person who made an appearance in a film as him or herself. Now actors play small parts as a character in a film for comic relief. Most cameos are non-credited due to the shortness of the screen time or because they are so famous they don't need a big credit. Some are publicity stunts. Others pay tribute to that actor's work in a similar role, but they are all for the most part hilarious. Following are 10 of film's funniest cameos in no particular order:

Reverse Typecasting: What Happens When An Actor's Current Role Destroys Past Work
Typecasting is an actor's worst nightmare. The last thing a professional wants to happen is getting pigeonholed into the same role time after time following a breakthrough performance. Usually this happens at the beginning of a career, such as the case of Bob Denver. Denver was Gilligan for the rest of his career and essentially the rest his life. In fact, we dare you to think of one role Jim Nabors played other than Gomer Pyle (a prize to anyone who shouted out "Lugs Harvey in Stroker Ace").

In Its Third Season, 'How I Met Your Mother' Still Delivers
Golden age of sitcoms it is not. These days, sitcom enthusiasts are burdened with the likes of "Carpoolers," "Samantha Who?" and the seemingly indestructible "According to Jim." (Seriously folks, seven seasons?) Fortunately, there are several bright spots out there in the otherwise gloomy television world.
The most noteworthy of those is the brilliant "How I Met Your Mother," currently in the midst of a stellar third year. So why aren't more people watching?

Must Avoid Movies of 2009
2009 is upon us, bringing with it all the hope that new year's usually bring. Usually, this hope is for health, happiness, and prosperity, and that is exactly how it should be. This year, however, I have an additional hope - or I should say, I had an additional hope - that Hollywood wouldn't soil our planet with films that make me wish my eyes had been burned out in some kind of electrical accident. Alas, ever the Cubs fan, I must wait for next year. Until then, I take solace in the fact that I may save you the pain of sitting through these movies.
