The 8 Biggest Snubs And Craziest Surprises Of The 2015 Oscars
2015 was not the year for Oscar drama.

There were no underdogs that came out of nowhere for the unexpected win. There were no obvious favorites that lost to a weird backwards choice (and thus, very few vegetable platters hurled at the TV in blind fury).

Instead, this year was all about "which frontrunner's gonna win it?"- categories where the winner was down to one or two (or three, sometimes) favorites, and one of those favorites inevitably took home a small, nude, gold man.

But there was still snubs and there were still surprises, and we're still going to catalogue them for you. Like w...

10 Best Movie Villains of 2014
What makes the best villain? Is it the baddie we love to hate the most? Or one who's sort of sympathetic? A semi-pleasant baddie becomes so much more intense when he ditches the niceties and starts setting fire to schoolchildren.

Sadly, there's no clear-cut way to define the "best" villain. If it was, this article would just be that character's name, and maybe a gif of him or her doing something villainous. Domestic terrorism, or perhaps defacing someone's mailbox.

Instead, we've got something a little longer: ten of the nastiest, most foul movie villains from 2014. Each one despicable- b...

Interview: 'Guardians Of The Galaxy's' Michael Rooker On Yondu P
Anyone who witnessed Marvel’s latest big blockbuster spectacle that was James Gunn’s "Guardians of the Galaxy" knows the great Michael Rooker all too well. As the scene stealing space pirate Yondu Udonta, surrogate father to Star-Lord Peter Quill and overall bawdy blue bad guy, Rooker created one of the coolest, quirkiest and funniest Marvel characters to date. Of course, it helps that Rooker and Gunn have worked together successfully many times in the past (from "Slither" to "Super!"), but ever solid performer Rooker has always been up for the challenge. (See his first flick "Henry: Por...

Guardians Of The Galaxy Soundtrack Ascends To #1: This Week In M
On the Billboard 200, only one album managed to surpass the 100,000 copies mark. Most surprising is the fact that it’s an album that seemed to come out of nowhere. This week, Guardians of the Galaxy, Awesome Mix Vol. 1 sells 109,000 copies.

Epic Fail : Theater Shows Wrong 'Guardians' Movie
Whoops! Movie-goers were treated to a big surprise in a Regal Cineplex in Richmond Virginia Thursday. The theater had filled up with excited viewers ready to see the new Marvel Film, Guardians of the Galaxy. The film features a sociopathic talking Racoon, an anthropomorphic tree, a sultry assassin, a bad tempered bruiser and a smart talking human, who take on the galaxy and blow up some baddies.

Confusion ensued when the viewers were presented with a more light-hearted film, filled with CG renditions of folktale heroes, such as Jack Frost, Santa and the Easter Bunny. The movie the theater ...

'Guardians of the Galaxy' Delivers Awesomeness
'Guardians of the Galaxy' delivers rocket powered awesomeness in spades. Who knew 2014 would prove the summer of kickbutt blockbuster movies?

'Guardians of the Galaxy' is basically a perverted 'Star Wars' with Zoe Saldana as Gamora, a ninjitsu Princess Leia; Bradley Cooper as Rocket, a psychotic Han Solo; Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, a douchey Luke Skywalker; Vin Diesel as Groot, a mentally deprecated Chewbacca; Dave Bautista as Drax, a humor challenged warrior; and Michael Rooker as Yondu, a twisted Obi Wan Kenobi.

After years of serious Marvel films with a side of humor, I most looked fo...

'Guardians Of The Galaxy': Meet Screenwriter Nicole Perlman
Everyone's talking about Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, but do you know who wrote it? That'd be two people: director James Gunn and the woman it all began with, Nicole Perlman, who joined us during last week's San Diego Comic-Con to discuss exactly how one puts together a Marvel blockbuster and what it's been like for her to have her name associated with a truly major motion picture.

"I don't think when I first started that I had any idea that the project was actually going to get made," she told us. "I think it was very much a long shot. I was in the Marvel writing program, and they ga...

'Guardians of the Galaxy' Review: If You've Never Seen A Marvel
Once upon a time a young boy named Peter Quill, who just lost his mother, was abducted by aliens and taken to a galaxy far, far away. The boy grows up to become Chris Pratt, well not really but that's the actor who plays Peter (aka Starlord), a lovable intergalactic thief.

Peter winds up stealing an Orb - we all know what an Orb can do right? In case you don't know (I certainly didn't) this Orb is all powerful and can destroy a civilization faster than you can tweet ‘you must see this film.’

Through a series of events, Peter finds himself in prison, where he teams up with some of Marvel's...

'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Sequel Is On The Way
Marvel is banking on the bizarre heroes of Guardians of the Galaxy – they’ve reportedly moved ahead and hired director James Gunn to write and helm a sequel.

Gunn previously spoke about his interest in a sequel, but he believed that would depend on the performance of the first film. With the movie getting great reviews and tracking to make over $60 million when it arrives next weekend, it appears Marvel has seen enough to put an order in for a second go.

Co-Writer Nicole Perlman actually broke the news while speaking with The Wrap at Comic-Con, telling the site (in the video above), "T...

Karen Gillan Didn't Donate Hair To 'Star Wars,' Says Being Bald
After Scottish actress Karen Gillan shaved her head last summer, the photos went viral. The star went bald for her role in "Guardians of the Galaxy," and people are still talking about it.

During an appearance on British talk show "Lorraine," the former "Doctor Who" star talked about going bald for the first t...
