March 15th, 2013 9:12pm EDT
Heidi Klum
Heidi Klum gets racy in the latest commercial for hamburger chains Carl's Jr. and Hardees, which is sure to get temperatures rising later this month when it hits the airwaves.

The new ad is a take on classic Dustin Hoffman film The Graduate, and features Heidi wearing a revealing black nightgown and seducing a younger guy.

"What I like about this commercial is that it's a very, very famous scene from 'The Graduate'... and basically, I am playing Mrs. Robinson and I am seducing this cute little boy... with my burger." Heidi says.

"I shove the burger in his mouth in a sexy way," she adds.

Jerry Hall To Take Saucy 'Graduate' Role Down Under

May 28th, 2010 3:15pm EDT
Jerry Hall
Jerry Hall is taking her saucy role in The Graduate Down Under - the former supermodel will reprise her character Mrs. Robinson in a new Australian production.

Mick Jagger's ex-wife bored all on stage in London when she first portrayed the seductive housewife in the West End in 2000. The Texan beauty later reprised her role on Broadway and now she's preparing to disrobe again for Australian audiences when the play opens in Perth later this year.

Hall, 53, confirmed the news to reporters, saying, "I'm going to Australia, I'm doing The Graduate in Perth. I'll be there in August and Septem...

Coming-Of-Age Films That We All Remember

July 8th, 2009 1:00pm EDT
SuperBad
Making the transition from adolescence into adulthood is a critical phase in an individual's life. This coming-of-age period, which has been coined "emerging adulthood" by Clark University research professor, Dr. Jeffrey Arnett, is characterized by identity exploration, self-focus, instability, a belief in boundless possibilities, and feeling in-between. According to Arnett's theory, in industrialized societies the types of experiences that people have who are in their late teens to mid-20's have changed dramatically over the past 50 years. Instead of being quick to make that walk down the ...

Movie Remakes & Recastings We Hope To Never See

June 8th, 2009 9:40am EDT
Mary Poppins
In the wake of the current brain-draining drive to remake just about everything Hollywood has ever had to offer, there are some films that are so sacred they should never be touched. This is a blatant retort to the deluge of watered down franchises, remakes, medium changes, etc. It ranges in levels of snark from low to apocalyptic strength.

My frustration with this extremely long trend came to a fever pitch after watching the Obsessed trailer. Anyone even peripherally familiar with Fatal Attraction could easily catch the obvious, racially spurred recasting of a classic film.

Starpulse's Explosive Summer Movie Preview

May 1st, 2009 10:06am EDT
Star Trek
Since the dawn of the American cinematic blockbuster in the late 1970s and early 1980s, moviegoers have eagerly waited for May - the unofficial beginning of summertime. This summer is no different. Films, and most popular media, are social mirrors, and this summer season supports that. The large box office contenders all deal with very similar themes: escapism and the support of the lone, outlaw hero figure (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Star Trek, Terminator Salvation, Up, Transformers 2, Public Enemies, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, Inglourious Basterds, et...

The Bourne Ultimatum
Many filmmakers are taking on the challenge of turning classic novels into feature films. It's a challenge because many people have fallen in love with the books and don't want directors messing with them.
