Matt Damon may have once started out as a serious thespian with small parts in films like Courage Under Fire and The Rainmaker, but he really didn't make a name for himself until 1997's Good Will Hunting, for which he also won an Oscar for screenwriting. There the blond-mopped young man played deep, pensive, and somewhat brooding characters, so it's a far cry to see him years later donning prosthetic noses and busy mustaches in order to get some added laughs for quirky, somewhat socially awkward characters. But Damon, in movies like the Ocean's Eleven series and now The Informant has proven...

Celebrities are not generally known for being scholarly, brainy, or bookish. On the whole, these types of words are reserved for people like Stephen Hawking, Marilyn Vos Savant, and Kim Ung-Yong. If a celebrity is fortunate, their claim to fame is achieved via artistic talent and entertaining know-how. There are, of course, celebrities who are not so fortunate, like Li Lo, Paris, and Brit, the Hollywood train wreck trifecta, whose notoriety is due more to excessive bed-hopping, drug use, feuds with friends, and wardrobe malfunctions than it is to arty aptitude. But what would the celebrity ...

Many people have mixed feelings towards Valentine's Day. In theory, V-Day is a day for couples, both old and new, to celebrate and express the love they have for one another. Also, Valentine's Day is undeniably an exclusionary holiday leaving all those table for one people out in the cold. But, if you happen to be one of the l...

Films like Magnolia and The Matrix were barred from competition, while films like Down with Love were considered (however, that one didn't make the cut)....
