Olivia Wilde And Jason Sudeikis Go 'Gigli' With 'Relanxious'

March 14th, 2012 9:12am EDT
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are bringing their off-screen romance to the big screen.

The real-life couple will play a make-believe couple plagued by all sorts of neuroses that put severe limitations on their relationship in the new romantic comedy, "Relanxious," according to Deadline.

"Relanxious" (not the best title in the world, is it?) chronicles the courtship between Barrett (Wilde), a young woman who suffers from extreme anxiety, and George (Sudeikis), a severe agoraphobic.

Their relationship is limited to a series of phone calls that consist of conversations about the dates the...

Razzie Awards Preview
For the past 30 years on the evening before the Hollywood revels in its own glory at the Academy Awards, the Golden Raspberry Awards do the best they can to gleefully throw sand in the industry's face. The Golden Raspberry Awards (or Razzies) are a kind of Anti-Oscar, dolling out cheap plastic statuettes to the worst movies that Hollywood plops onto the guileless public every year.

Heading up this year’s awards with 7 nominations each are the ultra-big budget sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” and the comparably expensive box office sink pit “Land of the Lost.” “Transformers” wa...

Cameron Diaz has been named the Worst Latino Actress of the past year for her role in film flop "The Box".

Diaz has topped the third annual Lazzies Awards list, handed out by Latina magazine for poor performances and bad films and TV shows.

She has been dishonored with the 'There's Always Waitressing Award' for Worst Actress for "The Box", with Latina bosses poking fun at her "bad southern accent" and her "deer-caught-in-headlights facial expression she wore throughout the entire film".

"Fame's" Walter Perez landed the 'The John T. Leguizamo Award' for Worst Actor and "Fast & Furious" wa...

When Good Actors Do Bad Movies

August 7th, 2009 9:20am EDT
G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra
Entering theatres with a torrent of bad buzz, "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" has all the makings of a big-time flop - not necessarily a shock given the thin source material.

What is surprising, however, is the appearance of indie stalwart and critically acclaimed actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the role of Cobra Commander. It's not the kind of fare he's normally associated with, but he isn't the first good actor to show up in a bad, bad film.

Why does this happen? There are myriad reasons, but these are the most popular:

Material temptation: It's not easy turning down a $20 million ...

Ben Affleck Dating J.Lo Was Bad
Ben Affleck has spoken out about his high-profile relationship with former girlfriend Jennifer Lopez - insisting it was bad for his movie career.

Affleck is adamant he should never have got involved in the first place - because the publicity surrounding their romance tainted his career.

He says, "I was no longer in control of my life. I thought I wanted certain things, but I didn't. I got lost. I felt suffoc...

Is Facebook Ruining Breakups?

February 17th, 2009 2:30pm EST
Valentine's Day is over, so we can swing the pendulum away from all things romantic, chocolaty, couple-ish, and pink and red for a moment to examine the anti-valentine - the breakup. Breakups are awful all the way around for all involved, whether you are the one who does the breaking, you're on the receiving end of the "we need to talk" conversation, or you are one half of a mutual and amicable parting of ways. After any breakup, there is a mourning period. There is the requisite crying (girls), brooding (guys), not wanting to get out of bed, and either not eating or over eating. There is a...

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez had no qualms about working with husband Marc Anthony on new movie El Cantante, despite the criticism she endured shooting 2003 flop Gigli with then-boyfriend Ben Affleck.

Lopez and Anthony play husband and wife in the biopic of salsa singer Hector Lavoe, but the actress, who also produces the film, insists she wanted to cast Anthony in the role long before they became romantically involved.

She says, "When you do a project, you want to bring the best people together. I got his script five years ago; Marc and I were not a couple at the time. But I knew he was the ...

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) - Ben Affleck cracked jokes about his film career during a high-school commencement speech Friday while giving a heartfelt tribute to a graduating student he befriended years ago.

Students at Falls Church High School and family members gave a standing ovation to Affleck following his commencement speech, in which he praised 19-year-old Joe Kindregan, a disabled student he met in 1998 on a film shoot. The two built a close friendship.

Ben Affleck: 'It Took Me a Long Time To Grow Up'

September 12th, 2006 9:03am EDT
Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck credits the media furor surrounding his relationship with Jennifer Lopez and the critical mauling of the two movies they made together with helping him "grow up." The actor turned his back on Hollywood and has been a virtual recluse since his split from Lopez and the disastrous performances of Gigli and Jersey Girl in 2003 and 2004.

Affleck is now back with new movie Hollywoodland - for which he won the Best Actor Award at the Venice Film Festival - and he insists he has learned much from the episode.

Affleck - now happily married to Jennifer Garner and with a baby d...

August 15th, 2006 8:31am EDT
Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck spent two years away from the media glare following the end of his relationship with Jennifer Lopez because he couldn't endure more negative press. Affleck appeared to be transformed from a serious actor to a groomed celebrity boyfriend when he started dating his Gigli co-star Lopez in June 2002.

When the couple, dubbed Bennifer by the press, ended their engagement in January 2004, Affleck took time out of filmmaking to focus on getting his life back on track. In July 2004, Affleck began dating his Daredevil co-star Jennifer Garner, before they married and became parents t...
