| "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" is hysterical. This is the perfect movie for single males. Michael Douglas (Uncle Wayne) is fantastic in a brief role. His sometimes sexist words of wisdom had me laughing long and loud. Matthew McConaughey (Conner Mead) sparkles as a smarmy fashion photographer, who follows in the legendary footsteps of Uncle Wayne. Conner loves sex. He goes through women like Oprah goes through bags of Snickers. Conner's theory on the subject of marriage during a rehearsal dinner for his brother's wedding is a laugh riot. Jennifer Garner (Jenny Perotti) is passable as the woman who has always intrigued Conner. There's plenty of scattered booty throughout this film: Lacey Chabert (Sandra), Nourween DeWulf (Melanie), Rachel Boston (Deena), Camille Guaty (Donna), Amanda Walsh (Denice), and Olga Maliouk (Ghost of Girlfriends Future). Olga is a sight to behold. She doesn't utter a single word, but her beauty speaks volumes. My two female friends loathed this film. They used such words as demeaning and chauvinistic. I completely disagree. I walked out of the theater feeling refreshed! | ||
