The Ten Worst Movies Of 2013

December 24th, 2013 12:00pm EST
Getaway
What makes a bad film? Factors such as poor ticket sales, bad acting, lousy scripts, and negative reviews. And if you've never even heard of the movie, than you know it's really bad.

Some of these films actually had decent box office results, but that doesn't mean they were good films. It just means a bunch of people got suckered into watching movies they thought would be entertaining but ended up being lousy.

"Getaway" (above) starred Selena Gomez, one of today's hottest young female singers and actresses. But her star power couldn't save the film.

The movie centered on Brent (Ethan Haw...

Box Office Predictions: Riddick Is A Clear Winner

September 6th, 2013 9:40pm EDT
Riddick
1) Riddick- 18M Weekend, 18M Total

Riddick should clearly win the weekend. Vin Diesel is hot off of his Fast sequel this summer, and the Riddick sequel seems to return the franchise to the Pitch Black roots, instead of the nonsense that happened in Chronicles. The Resident Evil franchise has done well in September, and Riddick should mirror that to an extent. Of course, you have the people who hated Chronicles Of Riddick, and may be waiting for their friends to say that this film is worth watching before heading out.

2) The Butler- 10M Weekend, 93M Total

Heading for the 100M mark, The Bu...

Instructions Not Included
Lee Daniels' The Butler held off competition from boy band One Direction's concert movie, One Direction: This Is Us, to top the four day Labor Day weekend box office.

"The Butler" grossed $20 million, edging out director Morgan Spurlock's music documentary, which came in second at $18 million.

"This Is Us" did win the weekend box office, though, pulling in $1 million more than "The Butler" for a $15.8 million take.

Comedy We're the Millers finished third on both charts, taking in nearly $16 million for the holiday weekend, and $12.6 million over the three-day weekend.

But the big surpri...

Selena Gomez Pulls A Miley, Sticks Her Tongue Out At 'Getaway' Premiere

August 27th, 2013 1:00pm EDT
Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez attended the Los Angeles premiere of "Getaway" on Monday and stuck her tongue out on the red carpet - just like Miley Cyrus did at the MTV Video Music Awards the night before.

Cyrus made headlines and got tongues wagging after her provocative performance at the awards show, and Gomez obviously made her cheeky expression in response to the hullabaloo.

Kelly Osbourne pointed out the absurdity of Cyrus' tongue action and commented on "Fashion Police": "Look Miley's my friend and I love her, and I have her back no matter what, but as her friend I'm going to tell her - put your f-...
