Gavilan was also released as The Ballad of Gavilan. This was in deference to the off-camera musical contributions of balladeer Pete_Seeger, whose melodic commentary upon the action is the best part of the film. Christopher_George stars as a young westerner whose family is wiped out by villains. George spends nearly two decades seeking out revenge.
