Kelly Clarkson Put Off Acting For Good
Singer Kelly Clarkson has vowed never to appear on the big-screen again - because her last foray into acting was "horrible."
The Since U Been Gone hit-maker starred in comedy musical From Justin to Kelly in 2003, as part of her deal for winning the first series of reality TV show American Idol. The film was a box office flop, widely panned by critics - and Clarkson insists she will never be tempted to make the transition from musician to film star again.
She tells Attitude magazine, "Oh it was a movie I had to do, and it was so horrible. Whoever won (American Idol) had to do it....

Kelly Clarkson Forced to Star in 'From Justin to Kelly'
Kelly Clarkson was "forced" into starring in the flop movie From Justin to Kelly: With Love when she signed her first record contract after winning American Idol. The Miss Independant singer, 23, and American Idol runner-up Justin Guarini, co-starred in the film musical, which entered the US box office charts at a lowly number 11 in 2003.
Three years on, Clarkson is still embarrassed with the movie. She says, "Two words: Contractually obligated. I knew when I read the script it was going to be real, real bad, but when I won, I signed that piece of paper, and I could not get out of it.
