Former Assistant Slams Russell Brand, Who Has A Penchant For Hanging Out In His Underwear

April 19th, 2010 9:01am EDT
Russell Brand
British comic Russell Brand is so "high maintenance" he's given his entourage "mental breakdowns," according to his former personal assistant.

Liliana dalla Piana quit her job as an aide to the "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star after he constantly walked around his home in his underwear.

And Piana has issued a stark warning to any future employee of Brand's.

She tells Britain's People newspaper, "Russell was very, very high maintenance. He used to walk around in his underpants. Calvin Klein boxers might have done it for me, but Y-fronts certainly didn't. Some things I was asked to do were...

The Blair Witch Project
Halloween is slowly approaching and you know what that means; a time for endless costume parties and for the sentimental ones, a time to cuddle up in front of the TV screen to get a healthy dose of scary movie marathons. Though there are oodles of horror films begging for the dust to be blown off of them, there are the others that are not worth pressing the play button on - simply because they tend to lack the scary in scary movies. Here are 7 films whose fright level is hardly lukewarm.

"Knocked Up," "SuperBad," Hot Rod," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "Tropic Thunder," "The Pineapple Express, Adventureland." All films -- released just in the last two years -- featuring (obviously, from the title of this post) "Saturday Night Live" star Bill Hader. Bill Hader now takes on his first leading role, sort of, as wayward inventor Flint Lockwood in the new 3-D animated feature, "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs." Hader, in this one on one interview, discusses with us the challenges of voice over work, his recent success in films as a supporting character and how all of this would ...

Judd Apatow: His Career And Latest 'Funny People'

July 30th, 2009 10:38am EDT
Judd Apatow
This Friday marks the theatrical release of "Funny People," the Judd Apatow dramedy starring Adam Sandler as a terminally ill stand-up comedian. As the buzz around this film has grown, fans and critics alike have wondered if Apatow, who never met a penis joke he didn't like, was making a huge mistake by veering into "serious" territory. Pretty odd, considering that one of Apatow's most loved and respected works was the TV series, "Freaks and Geeks," a show that beautifully walked the line between hilarity and heartbreaking realism.

Although it may seem like he came from out of nowhere to...

Hot Tranny Messes Not Apologizing For It: Hollywood's Worst Dressed

Bai Ling
Though they receive a lot of free clothing from designers, celebrities are not immune to looking - well - worse than us regular folk. Check out our list and photos of the celebs with the worst personal style:

When people begin to suspect that you are drunk when you show up for your work, one would think you would try to dress like you weren't drinking before you got there. Not Paula Abdul. She always looks like she's going to a frat party that she got dressed for while she was pregaming. How else could she think that shiny sequin leggings, a George Washington's blouse, and captain Hook's...

'Arrested Development' Cast: Where Are They Now?

March 7th, 2009 11:35am EST
Arrested Development
The family that chicken dances together, stays together. With the February 24 announcement that Michael Cera - the lone holdout - had finally signed on for the long-rumored Arrested Development movie, message boards went bonkers for Bluth bananas.

Cera is easily the most successful and visible post-Bluth. With SuperBad, Juno, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and Sundance darling Paper Heart, this kid has perfected the tentatively awkward comedic timing that made you root for the love story of George Michael and his cousin Maeby.

Where have the Bluths been since we last laughed a...

10 Things We're Thankful For This Year - What Are You Thankful For?

November 27th, 2008 9:35am EST
Stephen COlbert
Before we fall into the annual Thanksgiving tryptophan coma, we'd like to take a few minutes to give thanks for some of the best pop cultural presents received in 2008.

Paul Rudd

This year, the ubiquitous, sexy-silly actor showed up in “Over Her Dead Body,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” and “Role Models,” guested on HBO’s “Little Britain USA,” and hosted “Saturday Night Live.” Add to that the near-constant airings of “Knocked Up” on HBO and “Clueless” on every other channel, and it’s virtually impossible to get away from the guy…which is just how we like it!

If you play for th...

Russell Brand Plays Gay For Girls

November 13th, 2008 12:43pm EST
Ghey poser?
Funnyman Russell Brand has a unique way of charming women into bed - he pretends he is gay.

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star told talk show host David Letterman that women feel less intimidated by his advances if they believe his flowing locks and flamboyant clothing mark him out as gay. And the British comic insists the subterfuge is a sure-fire way of getting girls between the sheets.

He says, "In spite of appearances, I'm a heterosexual male. Because I'm so well dressed, people think, 'He must be gay. Look at his haircut, he must be gay. Look how sensitive and vulnerable h...

Rogen pulled his pants down to show his naked backside in forthcoming film Zack and Miri Make a Porno. But he insists it was a captivating performance by his pal, actor Jason Segel, which convinced him that going fully nude should be his next step on set.

Rogen says, "Last year a movie came out: Forgetting Sarah Marshall, with Jason Segel - who I'm actually friends with. He shows his frontierre (full frontal) on that,...

Interview: Jack McBrayer, Sweetly Refreshing

October 8th, 2008 11:59am EDT
Jack McBrayer
Jack McBrayer is not famous. The fact that your head just tilted and eyes scrunched upon reading the previous sentence proves the point. Jack McBrayer is not famous. But his face, the aw-shucks smile that widens past his ears, is. His personality, the giggly glee that recalls a child pouring over their Halloween booty, is.

In the following interview, as much as he was pressed for an off-character critical quote, Jack never wavered from the gee-golly-Miss-Molly persona that has become his trademark. When asked about Russell Brand, who wears his pants so tight around his lower body they ...

Sesame Street
For nearly 40 years Jim Henson’s Muppets have captivated audiences young and old, whether down the block on Sesame Street, from backstage on their own syndicated variety show, or even on the big screen.
