Welcome to week three of our summer movie season. Fans of author Dan Brown will finally get to see the long awaited prequel to "The Da Vinci Code."

The stylish screen adaptation of James Ellroy's novel, The Black Dahlia, details one of the most notorious unsolved murders in Hollywood history. Elizabeth Short was a struggling actress looking to make a name for herself in 1940s-era Tinseltown. Unfortunately for Elizabeth, it was her grim fate that would ultimately overshadow anything she would accomplish during her short and tragic career. Matt Dillon made sure his portrayal of his literary hero, Charles Bukowski, was respectful by secretly meeting with the writer's ex. Dillon plays Bukowski's alter-ego, Henry Chinaski, in new movie Factotum and, although he knew a lot about the writer's work, he knew little about the man.
