From 'Hunger Games' To The 'Twilight' Saga: The Best & Worst Book To Film Adaptations

The Hunger Games hits theaters Friday in what looks to be a battle for box office gold (it’s already sold more pre-sale tickets than any of the Twilight movies, according to Fandango). And while it’s current 100 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes is reassuring, anxious fans still have a week to go before they’ll know for sure if director Gary Ross paid good enough tribute to Suzanne Collins’ literary franchise.

Rachel Weisz Wants Botox Banned

Rachel Weisz is calling on movie bosses to ban Botox for actors, comparing the popular age-defying injections to illegal "steroids for sportsmen".

"The Mummy" star will turn 40 on Oscar night (March 7th) but she still refuses to follow the Hollywood trend.

And Weisz is appealing for her fellow stars to stop the cosmetic procedure and start accepting their real age and wrinkles if they want to give award-winning performances.

She tells Life & Style magazine, "It should be banned for actors as steroids are for sportsmen... Acting is all about expression."

The third full-length studio album from Avril Lavigne will be released Tuesday, April 17. The album is titled The Best Damn Thing. The first album of new music from the pop-punk icon since 2004's triple-platinum Under My Skin, The Best Damn Thing includes Avril's current hit power-ballad, "Keep Holding On," which she cowrote (with Dr. Luke), at the request of 20th Century Fox, for the studio's fantasy/adventure film, "Eragon."
