'The Queen' Is Film Fans' Favorite Movie Monarch
Helen Mirren's portrayal of The Queen is movie fans' favorite royal role, according to a new online poll.
In anticipation of Colin Firth's Best Actor win at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday for The King's Speech, and his assured Oscar nomination, websites WENN and Fandango.com staged a weekend vote to find the best movie monarch.
Mirren topped the poll with 47 per cent, while Cate Blanchett's Elizabeth I came in second with 31 per cent of the vote.

'Little Miss Sunshine' Wins at SAG Awards
Little Miss Sunshine scooped the Ensemble in a Film prize at the 13th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday. The low-budget comedy unexpectedly took home the prestigious accolade, which is the ceremony's equivalent of the Best Picture Oscar. Full List of Winners Below

'Little Miss Sunshine,' 'Grey's Anatomy' Win Producer's Guild Awards
Low-budget movie Little Miss Sunshine has beaten Babel, Dreamgirls and The Departed to be named Best Film at the Producers Guild Of America (PGA) awards Saturday night. The film is now a favorite to win the Academy Award for Best Picture next month - 11 movies voted for by the PGA in the last 17 years have gone on to win the Oscar.
Elsewhere, Cars won Best Animated Film, while Grey's Anatomy was named Best Episodic Television Drama at the Los Angeles ceremony.

The Simpsons won the best animated program at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday - the ninth time it has been awarded the prize. An episode of the show, entitled “The Seemingly Never-Ending Story,” beat a controversial episode of South Park, in which The Church Of Scientology and follower Tom Cruise were mocked.
