Summary:
It's a personal matter for Joe Friday (Jack Webb) when his old army buddy Max Tyler (Harlan Warde) is arrested. Out of sympathy for Max's wife Dorothy (Elizabeth Fraser), Joe offers to look after the man's family while he is in prison.
