Going from a seemingly reclusive loner to a gay man out to strut his stuff – that’s a notable role indeed. Two social misfits hit the road in search of some answers in the broad comedy "Dirty Girl" set in 1987. Danielle (Juno Temple) is a girl with a certain reputation at the small-town Oklahoma high school she attends -- her fashion statements suggests she's either a streetwalker or auditioning for a Mötley Crüe video, and her list of sexual conquests is quite remarkable for her age.

Not sure what's playing at your local movie theatre? Here's what's hitting the theaters this weekend! "The Ides of March" (Ryan Gosling, George Clooney), "Real Steal" (Hugh Jackman), and "Dirty Girl" (Juno Temple).

Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'Real Steel,' 'The Ides Of March,' & More

If you haven’t had the opportunity to read my Seth Rogen interview from last week for “50/50,” you should definitely check it out.

The film itself is one of the best this year; definitely worth watching. It impressively handles a dark subject like cancer by making light of it with humor. To label “50/50” as a straight comedy though is disrespectful to what a poignant story it is, because it also remains sensitive to immense difficulty of coping with such a serious disease.

In this way, Seth Rogen’s sarcastic jokes are well balanced by Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s uptight, neurotic character...
