Russell Brand, Jim Carrey, Jack Black, Snoop Dogg, Heidi Klum and Josh Duhamel went green at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday - they got slimed.

Host Black, Klum, Carrey, Snoop Dogg and the night's Arm Fart Hall of Fame inductee Duhamel, who dressed up as Justin Bieber for his sliming, were all prepared for the messy 'honor' but Brand was caught out when he stepped onstage to present the award for Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie to birthday boy Eddie Murphy.

How To Train Your Dragon
Gerard Butler's animated adventure "How To Train Your Dragon" has fought its way to the top of the box office chart with opening weekend takings of $43.3 million.

The DreamWorks movie, which also features the voices of Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera, tells the tale of a Viking boy who tames a fire-breathing dragon.

The 3-D film ended "Alice in Wonderland's" three-week run at number one; Tim Burton's Disney fantasy slips to second place with $17.3 million, taking its total gross in the U.S. to $293.1 million.

When I read the results of the Oscars, I was not terribly surprised by any of the winners. I felt that a lot of the films and actors that were played up very politically in the entertainment industry were the ones that walked away with the coveted statues.

While I have seen many of the various movies that were up for awards there are several I’m ashamed I still haven’t seen like “Precious,” “Crazy Heart,” and “The Hurt Locker.” Of the three “The Hurt Locker” remains at the top of my list, just because I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.
