British actress Saffron Burrows was so frightened by violent turbulence on a plane circling New York recently, she held a stranger's hand for nearly an hour. The Deep Blue Sea star was flying from Los Angeles to Manhattan for an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman when bad weather struck.

So the terrified 35-year-old grabbed the hand of the man sitting in the seat next to her - without realizing his family was across the aisle.

LL Cool J To Star In 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof'?

Hip-hop star LL Cool J is in talks to play the lead role in a stage revival of Tennessee Williams 1950s classic movie Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. The rapper hopes to land the role as Brick, an alcoholic ex-American football player whose father is dying of cancer, played by Paul Newman in the original film.

The star, real name James Todd Smith, has proved his acting talent in movie Deep Blue Sea and sitcom In The House.
