Ryan Reynolds Lends His Voice To Deadpool In New 'Honest Trailer' For Hit Marvel Flick

5/11/2016 4:44pm EDT
Deadpool
Ryan Reynolds has lent his voice to the latest installment of video website Screen Junkies' "Honest Trailers" series, reprising his role as comic book character Deadpool just in time for the film of the same name's home video release on Tuesday (May 10).

The website is famous for its mockery of movie trailers, and since Reynolds' character is known for breaking the fourth wall on both the page and on the screen, it's no surprise he was up for doing a little voiceover work to add to the satire.

According to The Hollywood Reporter (via Yahoo), Screen Junkies contacted Reynolds through twitt...

The Merc With The Mouth: 20 Hilarious Ryan Reynolds Quotes From
Some superheroes tend to take themselves pretty seriously. After all, they're often the only ones standing in the way of the end of the world. And then there's "superheroes" like Deadpool. The 2016 mega hit made clear right from the start that actor Ryan Reynolds and the rest of the team behind the "Merc with the Mouth" intended to flip the typical superhero movie script on its head.

"You're probably thinking "This is a superhero movie, but that guy in the suit just turned that other guy into a f**king kebab," Reynolds said into the camera in one of the film's first scenes. "Surprise, th...

Kanye West has been taking a lot of flack for his recent meltdown backstage at Saturday Night Live but Kanye's rampage pales in comparison to the one that was unleashed on Friday by actor Ryan Reynolds, better known these days as the man behind the foul-mouthed superhero 'Deadpool.'

Reynolds, whose movie is currently breaking box office records, released a very NSFW video spoofing West's rant while in character as 'Deadpool'.

"Listen up, Lorne Michaels. SNL took my f---ing Life of Pablo album without asking. Now I'm bummed," he says in the video, which includes several pictures parodying...

Ryan Reynolds Is Killer Fun As 'Deadpool'

2/12/2016 1:17pm EST
With cutting edge satire, 'Deadpool' is whimsically irreverent, insanely quirky, and balls deep hilarious. As a bloody valentine to fans, the film is a joyful celebration of Deadpool's bat shit crazy insanity.

Through an asynchronous, non-linear storytelling format, 'Deadpool' (starring Ryan Reynolds, written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and directed by Tim Miller) tells the origin story of Marvel Universe's wise-cracking super assassin Deadpool. While I wasn't crazy about Deadpool's early 90s Marvel 'X-Force' comic introduction (as a pseudo-seeming-knock-off of DC Universe's super-assa...

Ryan Reynolds Does Hilarious Cancer PSA In Character As Deadpool
Deadpool is a very outspoken character, but now Ryan Reynolds is using his starring gig as the "Merc with a Mouth" role for a good cause.

Just weeks ahead of Deadpool's release date, Reynolds has released a public service announcement to raise awareness of testicular cancer, doing so in a way that only Deadpool can: by sitting on a pool table, surrounded by balls, and making a ton of wisecracks.

Deadpool is Reynolds' biggest superhero role, which he first originated in 2008's prequel X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The part was originally intended to be just a cameo in the Hugh Jackman-led film...

Scarlett Johansson plays the superheroine Black Widow, a new addition to the Iron Man cast for next summer's sequel. She had actually become a redhead on her own, and it just happened to fit the part.

"Part of that was me wanting to experiment with my hair color and the other part of that was me kind of hoping that [director] Jon [Favrea] would like the fact that I had experimented," Johansson said.

More concerning was the Lycra cat suit that Black Widow wears. "I have to say, you put that much work into something and you put it on, and you better be happy with it," Johansson continu...
