| I am writing again on my review of 'The Day The Earth Stood Still'. This film really blew me and my mum away, it was just like the original, only better! The special effects are brilliant and very believeable. It was emotional too when Klaatu was getting eaten by those micro-bugs, and he fell, but finally he did get back to the sphere. I loved it when he saved the doctor and her step-son. The thing that really shocked me was that Robert Knepper was in the film too! I couldn't believe my eyes when he was the Colonel. Unfortunately he died by the micro-bugs:( But overall, it is fantastic and recommend all sci-fi lovers to watch this amazing movie! :) | ||

| The movie wasn't as good as i thought it was going to be,and i agree Jaden Smith's role to me was the best in the movie. | ||

| Tedious! "The Day the Earth Stood Still", is a horrendous flick that failed to captivate me. Keanu, Kathy and Jennifer are boring, dull and unsatisfying. Thank goodness for Jacob Benson (Jaden Smith). Otherwise, this waterlogged 1951 sci-fi remake deserves an F! | ||
